[MADtv] Just saw season 12 first taping LIVE!

I went last night to see the live taping. This year is going to ROCK! I don't want to give too much away, but a couple of things stood out. A survivor parody that had me rolling and a kid doing a cartoon about mel gibson. week of news or something. the kid was swearing and everything. AWESOME! other stuff but you won't give it away.

not a huge fan last year, but always been supportive. jordan peele is great in everything he does! he's in a deal or no deal sketch. not much else stuck out except for the VERY racist survivor sketch was just plain awesome! and week of news cartoon in crayon is hopefully going to be on EVERY week. i can see that briunging people back for more. and a sketch with hooters girls but that got old pretty quick.

aHA! I knew that's why they got Howie Mandel...why else would he guest star this year? And I also agree with you about Jordan, he's definitely one of the stronger performers out of the current cast.

That stuff sounds great IMO. My only concern with the racist Survivor parody is that the stereotypes won't be too creative, like how 'black people steal things', how 'white people are assholes', and such.

as horrible as it sounds, please don't take this the wrong way, I find the racist stuff they do halarious sometimes, MadTv is halarious at racist jokes. I feel like a bad person now.
