[MADtv] Oprah on SNL.

I turned on SNL during the MADtv commercials and saw a Oprah skit on SNL. Did anybody see it, because it looked very similar to the one on MADtv this season.
And they really suck at immitating Oprah. Hah, snl sucks.

Yeah, I saw that too. Maya Rudolph is terrible at Oprah Winfrey, besides the obvious reason that she doesn't even look like her. Maya is half African American and Stephnie looked darker than her in the QVC sketch last night. sorry if that sounded bad

Anyway I saw it and I thought it was funny. It reminded me of the one MADtv did, but SNL has had talk show sketches like that before Debra was on. I like SNL, last nights episode was much better than MAD's.

I liked this sketch, it definately wasn't my favorite of the night but i liked how they made fun of the wicked obsessed audience. It's so true. And the way Ashton Kutcher was smiling was awesome. And there's obviously going to be similiarities when parodying the same show.

Maya Rudolph only wishes she were half as good an Oprah impressionist as Debra.

What pisses me off is that I once saw a real Oprah episode awhile back where Oprah had Maya on and was praising her for the impression and saying how "funny" it was....

where was the praise for Debra? Oh right, she's not on SNL, she must not be funny at all.

I wasn't really watching the one on SNL but this is how I thought it was similar. On both shows they had someone who had "lost everything" and then Oprah comes on and gives them something that is unrelated to the subject.

I don't know if thats what really happened since I wasn't paying close attention to it and I don't know if what I wrote made any sense but yeah..

HAHAHAHA! Wow Tht was funny! I liked when the ladies head flew off. Her impression isnt as good, but the audience was hilarious. I think the reason Oprah likes Maya's is because it doesn't really make fun of her, but plays fun at the show and the audience.

Debra told me that she met Oprah at the Emmys and Oprah didn't know that she parodied her and her show on MADtv or so she said.

Oprah most definetley knows that Debra does a parody of her but was probably too embarassed to admit it.

Ugh, I hate Maya's Oprah impression and it pisses me off how it gets so much recognition. Debra's is brilliant and it's too bad that she gets no press. I read this huge article after Maya's first Oprah impression with a big color picture in Entertainment Weekly (I think that's what it was) about how the impression was so great. It made me so angry.

It was funny. I was at a party on Saturday when this aired and we flipped on the TV and this sketch was on. The girl sitting behind me goes "Oh my God, she sucks compared to Debra Wilson!" LOL, it was awesome.

I never saw her Oprah impression until madOC provided the link...I like Maya and all, but lets face it, that impression SUCKS! I wish Debra would get praise for her impression, but of course she doesn't portray her very "nicely." PFFT! Still one of the best impressions I've ever seen of ANY celebrity. People suck.

Parodies of people or things aren't supposed to be particularly kind. People need to get over it and realize that Debra stomps Maya into the ground.

Debra's Oprah is genius. I never get tired of watching her lay it into Oprah. Maya's doesn't even compare.
