Ah thank you. By the looks of it, I would have had a lot of trouble figuring that out.

I saw this episode.
My favorite sketch of the night was definitely the family scamming people out of money in a restaurant. Definitely a good one-off sketch in what was mostly an episode of political satire and tv show parodies. Even though the Dora the Explorer sketch was very predictable and stereotypical about the Los Angeles area, I enjoyed the sketch as well. Was a bit ticked off that they threw in a MADtv Classic. What the heck was that about? On that HBO sketch about Cinderella, all I could think of was Chelsea Davidson=Susan Whitfield. Hehe. __________________ Bunifa's Driving Test: Bunifa: Yo, Yo, Yo. Here's what they were thinking. "We had Key and Peele before they were Key and Peele!" I know Keegan and Jordan are probably the reason why these new episodes are even happening, but I hope they don't shove them down our throats as a desperate attempt to have them on the show.

Just finished a small summary of the episode sketches and who was in what. I'll post a more detailed summary later.
Also, I was just looking at the writers list and I noticed a few things. There are some writers on here that are returning from the old show like Scott King, Bruce Leddy, and Jim Wise, but there are also some writers there that are pretty interesting like Carol Leifer, and what looks to be Ike Barinholtz brother Jon Barinholtz. Also, Will Sasso wrote the Bachlor sketch with Scott and Jon. __________________ ![]() ![]() Planet MADtv (August 28th 2002- August 28th 2009, August 28th 2010)

Could you tell me where you downloaded it? Damn Canadian geo blocking has prevented me from finding the episode.

My thoughts on the episode. I thought it was ok, nothing outstanding but I think there is some talented new cast members so hopefully they can do well enough to keep the show going past the initial 8 episodes. One major gripe is the use of an encore sketch in the episode, i can see why they would use it having Keegan and Jordan starring in it but i'd much rather see new material. I hope there was a good reason for not airing the Darlene McBride/Arnold Schwarzenegger sketch that I saw pics of.

Maybe they'll release it online or something as a special. I wish we could have seen the DMB sketch. Would have been great to see a Nicole character like that again. Definately would have brought the episode up in quality. Maybe they didn't want to overshadow the new players.

So I'm only partway through the episode, some family emergencies happened, so I couldn't finish it. I plan to today. I got through the Dora sketch.
My only semi-complaint, besides the lack of the original theme song, is one of my favorite comedians I know our decision for mad TV is one of my favorite comedians I know our decision for Madtv, it was on her Snapchat, and she went in as an adult Dora, which is a character she does a lot - Brittany furlan. I hope that they didn't steal the idea from her, Because Dora the explorer is kind of outdated, so it seems very random. Also was the new Darlene sketch filmed?! I'm so sad it wasn't shown if it was! __________________ I love Nicole Sullivan, Alex Borestien, Mo Collins, Debra Wilson, Nicole Parker, Danielle Gaither, Paul Vogt, and Mary Scheer. - "He looka lika man." - Bunny Swan -"This has been Cabana Chat, and this AHH AHH AHHHHHH is Dixie Wetsworth!" -Dixie Wetsworth, Cabana Chat -"Tcha...ya know what? No, the Dora sketch was likely something Michelle came up with. If you look at her demo reel on her website, she has a Dora sketch on there that is pretty close to what we saw on the show.

Hey, the episode was pretty decent!
It was a big surprise seeing Nicole & Will introduce the show and then star in some funny Bill & Hillary stuff, and then Kenny Rogers!!! The new cast seems to be ok, of course a larger sample size is needed... I really like that Michelle Oritz! Funny and easy on the eyes. Also kinda cool that they're gonna show classis sketches from the old shows... I wish they would have chosen a better one for this episode though... Anyway the show has potential it seems, lets see how they roll down the road... __________________ |

I've just filled out the full summary. While I did I noticed a few things.
In the opening, there is a bingo like ball cage, like there was a draw for something that is never explained. Must have been something that was cut. Also, MADtv writer Bruce Leddy can be heard as the announcer in the opening. In "The Forte Hustle" sketch, the guitarist behind Johnny Forte is MADtv writer Jim Wise. In the credits, it says that they are filming at Hollywood Center Studios, the same location where they filmed seasons 1-12. __________________ ![]() ![]() Planet MADtv (August 28th 2002- August 28th 2009, August 28th 2010)
