Because he wants us to all be his labrats when it comes to shows. He only get's into shows 3 seasons in due to attachment reasons. Anyway, I won't be watching. One because it looks no different from any other show with the same plot, and two it just looks lame. My prediction, by September people will barely remember what this show was.

No, It will be airing on the Sunday January 17th, then it will air after American Idol on Wednesday at 8:00, before situating itself behind American Idol on Wenesday. I still say it's not going to work because it just looks bad.

I recommend Six Feet Under. A few months ago I started watching it and found it to be quite outstanding. The characters really develop over the span of five seasons and found my opinions on them constantly shifting, as if they would with real people. If you do enjoy the show and you put in the time, the ending of the series is one of the most profoundly affecting things I've ever seen on TV.

Aaaand now I'm out of TV shows to watch so maybe I'll dig around this thread and find something I might enjoy.

Not a chance in hell. I watched about 3 episodes of season 1 of that show and concluded that it was being written for teenage/college age women.

The Ricky Gervais Show: The first Ricky Gervais show I've been able to sit through, the third HBO show I've been able to sit through, and without doubt, one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It may take another hundred years, but this subscription to HBO will pay for itself yet!

Is Caprica any good? I saw the pilot and was 'eh' on it, but I hear it's getting good reviews.

Archer: If you liked Sealab 2021 or Frisky Dingo, you'll like this show because its by the same studio I think. I'd also say if you like the type of humor in Arrested Development, you might like it because Archer is quite similar and seems to feature several people from that show.

I'm going to recommend Pure Pwnage: Teh TV Series. As I'm sure most of you know, Pure Pwnage was a fairly successful web series, and back in August, Canadian channel Showcase picked it up for eight episodes. Three have aired so far, with the fourth airing this week.

Usually these kinds of things don't turn out so well (something from the internet going mainstream [see: Brookers, LisaNova, Quarterlife, Ron Paul]), but this series has been surprisingly good. They've done a great job of introducing the characters and the world to new viewers, but keeping the feel of the web show for the old ones. There doesn't seem to be much connection between the two series (even though fans consider it "season three") in terms of storylines. The new show seems to be going in its own direction with that (which is sad because the web show has been on hiatus for, like, a year and a half, and it ended with a big reveal. Also, RIP T-Bag).

So, yeah, if you're in Canada, check it out on Showcase, and if you're not in Canada, you know how to get it.

How are you able to watch the tv episodes in the States? I saw the second episode, but only because Kenny Hotz was guest starring in a very lack luster guest spot. I didn't think it was very funny. I find Jeremy annoying, and a complete jackass but not in the funny way.

Anyone care to weigh in on "Spartacus: Blood and Sand"? Xena boobs and Jennsen from Seeker have piqued my interest.

I heard it's inferior to ROME but raunchier. Then again, I heard a lot of people say they like it, but nobody I know personally has watched it. You should check out ROME anyways.
