I agree though, if Idena can't or isn't asked to do the movie, I really hope Nicole is asked. That would be amazing, I missed her performance in New York .

I've heard a lot of talk that the producers of the movie are thinking of having Amy Adams in the movie....

When Judd Apatow was on Conan this past Monday, he brought a clip of Funny People, and said clip featured Nicole Parker. I think the clip might actually encompass her entire time on film, but regardless, she was in the clip, it was on Conan, it was hilarious.

Ok, I saw the scene with a few manuvers that allowed me to watch it on the NBC website. The scene was small, but Nicole was in it through and through. In the scene, Adam Sandler's character is straddling a woman out of his swimming pool room, leaving Seth Rogan's character, and Nicole's character in the pool. Seths character then challenges Nicole on who can hold there breath the longest underwater. He goes under, and she just stands there in the pool, almost confused. When he comes up, gasping for air, he accidentally spits in her face. That's when she utters her only line in the clip "nothings going to happen between us".

By the clip, I actually think Nicole has a longer part in the movie. I think that this might be a double date type thing with Sandler, Rogan, and the other girl. Also, by the setup of the clip, I think this is one of Judd Apatow's favourite scenes in the movie, which could be a good thing, as it may make him want to use Nicole more in upcomming films. I'm so excited about this movie. Not just for the Nicole factor, but that I think it really speaks to me, seeing as I think I suffer from the same problems when I try to do jokes (as most of you can probably see from my bad jokes on here). I'll be going to see it. For Nicole, and for the funny.

In My Belief she will either has a HUGE career in MOVIE ROLES or BROADWAY or what i hope to god BOTH Movies and Broadway..

That is why i am still believing Nicole Parker might in the near future be the biggest MADtv cast member to come from the show in the upcoming, Just watch..

I do agree, and I will watch, but if Keegan gets some big play from his new Gary role, he may give Nicole a run for her money. If that happens I'll be happy too, because that means that A. they are succeeding outside of the show, and B. It'll show people who said that the later seasons of MADtv sucked, because if those seasons sucked, how come they produced some of the most popular cast members outside of the show?

I saw Funny People tonight. Nicole's part lasts about 3 minutes long. She has sex with Adam Sandler. It's hilarious. Her part is probably one of the funniest ones in the movie.

I hope in the near future Nicole Parker comes back to Wicked because let me tell you she got allot of Excellent reviews and when she came Wicked in NY she was getting better and better by her shows, im pretty sure Nicole Parker did close to 90 shows in that range which is great and so far From January 2009 - July 2009 wicked The show has already again been winning many of awards and still top grossing Broadway show. I just hope she returns or even better make a new musical as Nicole as the Principal Role.

I know it was a while ago, but has anyone listened to the "Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me" soundtrack? I just bought it, Nicole sings a lot on it, and does her Julie Andrews, Ellen, Brittany, and Celian (sp?) impressions! Also, a bonus, Mary Birdsong is on it from Reno 911. Those two do an amazing duet. But the CD is great, The three ladies on the CD are the best part, but Nicole's voice is amazing! You should really get a copy if you can!

I saw that. I loved reading it. Great to see an article that treats both MADtv, SNL, and the great sketch comedy school of Boom Chicago with respect. To be honest, I wish I could start one of those in my area. There is even an old movie threatre in my area that would be the perfect place to do it, and I could get cheap because they are having trouble leasing it, but in my situation, a cheap building is still to expensive for me.

I found an interesting article saying that Nicole is going to be appearing in this thing called The BEATdown, in which she and other comedians take on audience members in rap battles. Is this the reappearance of Nickelbag from Yo Ma Ma? I hope so! It's at Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles and I so wish I could attend!
