A writer's work is revealed
As some of you may or may not know, when I get older I want to be a professional writer/actor. And you know how much I've been wanting to get my work out there for other people to see. Well now I've got the chance. In my drama class our teacher gave us an assisgnment to go get a scene and perform it. Well I decided to write my own and perform it in front of the class. I wrote a scene called "Blueberry Pancakes" and I've showed it to a few people and they really enjoyed it. It's a comedy of course. I've even got people asking me if I could write a scene or monologue for them. I feel this may be my chance to get out there. Hopefully my teacher will also enjoy it when I perform it. I just have to memorize the lines. lol. I know you're probably thinking, how can the teacher get you out there. But my teacher is no ordinary teacher, she's got a high status out there in the acting field. She's not a big hollywood celebrity, but more of behind the scences work. She does musicals on Broadway as well. So anyway, I have a chance of getting noticed and finally jump starting this career at a young age. Wish me luck everyone!!!

Good luck, I'm sure that what you wrote is really good.
 I am also seriously considering doing something with acting, or just giving it a shot after I graduate from college. I don't act as much as I used to, but I really enjoy it and have done it for years. My parents met at acting school in New York City, but decided that they wanted to leave it to raise a family. They have their own theater company now and also teach classes based on the Meisner method, which they learned at acting school. I guess the mindset I have is that I can just give it a shot for a little while and if it doesn't work out, at least I tried. That won't be for a while, though. I'm just a college freshman right now and I at least want to finish school first. Good luck, I always wanted to be a comedian, but could never really write comedy. Anywho, good luck.

Best of luck!!!!!!! There's a talent show at our Youth Center (a place where we can hang out after school and on the weekends) and I wanted to write a short sketch and perform it with some friends... I just don't know what to write. You should put "Blueberry Pancakes" in the Fan Submissions thread, you could consider it a sketch!
