Verdict

He is doing awesome as a FP and should definitely move on. Some people say that he is like Michael McDonald but I disagree. Sure he has some of Michael's mannerisms, but he has so much more that makes him different. As I said in Matt's Judgment it is basically a tie between him and Matt for best FP. I credit Eric for his work, but I would like to see him do more people that could basically become characters. We need more characters on MADtv right now.

Eric, I think, is doing good right now, but does need some more variation in the roles he plays. Even so, 90% of what he's done in his 4 episodes has been good, and I think with some refinement he can be a new male cornerstone of the show. Keep him.

He'll probably be back. They need a white male in the cast.

Eric is very versatile, he could probably play any role MADtv throws at him. So, yes, he will stay (I guess).

Absolutely. Yes. Eric kicks ass every time he is on.

I may be making a bold statement here, but I feel that Eric could be the core anchor of MADtv for the 'next gen', much like how Michael was after the Season 1 cast left.
