Mo Collins and Ana Gasteyer

Earlier today I was watching SNL and I couldn't help but notice sometimes that Ana Gasteyer kinda looks like Mo.

I mean I know they aren't twins or anything, but at certain moments I could see some resemblance between them.

Anyone else think this or am I just seeing things?



Also, was anyone else out there aware that our Mo Collins isn't the only famous person to use that name.

There is another Mo Collins, except this particular Mo is an African American male who plays for the Okland Raiders.

But moreso with Will Ferrell and Mike McDonald. They don't look alike, but they sound so much alike.

I would definately watch the spice girls. I still listen to their beutiful music j/k but I think that Will Ferrel and Mike really sound alike too.

So does anyone here actually consider themselves an SNL fan? There's a very anti-SNL vibe here, just like the anti-MAD vibe at various SNL websites, but personally, I love both shows.

Nah, I was just teasing. I don't hate SNL, but I don't watch it because I'm a MADtv fan. I stopped watching SNL when MADtv came on the air in 1995. I havent watched a full episode of SNL since, sometimes i flip during commercials or sometimes just flip the channel after MADtv is over, but not for long...

I am an SNL fan. I mainly only watch for a few cast members. People like Will Forte and Darrell Hammond are really the only thing keeping SNL enjoyable.
But SNL's noty as good as Mad TV.
And you're right about the anti-madtv/anti-snl vibes at other message boards.

You should see what they have to say at the Saturday-Night-Live.com forums.

Yeah he was on a commercial not to long ago (that I saw like 10 times in a row). and he was singing "Aint No mountain high enough".. I like that song and he completely ruined it.. hes an awful singer! BLECCH!

Ya know something? The singer, Michael McDonald's birthday and birthplace is in Michael McDonald (MADtv)'s bio in the tvtome.com site. I want someone to fix it now! Michael was not born in 1952 in Missouri!!! Maybe I should somehow inform the person who is in charge of his profile on the site.

EDIT: Forgot to add in, that it says that Michael (MADtv) is 6'1" in the imdb.com site. I don't think that's true...he's looks so much taller than 6'1". Back in season 7 when he used to stand next to Will Sasso in the show closings, he was like an inch taller than Will who is 6'3". I'm guessing Michael should be somewhere between 6'3" and 6'4". DEFINITELY NOT 6'1"

I don't really see the resemblance between Mo Collins and Ana Gasteyer. From what I remember, Ana Gasteyer had squinty little eyes.

Mike McDonald and Will Ferrell sound alike, but they don't really look alike (despite the both of them being tall). Will Ferrel is much fatter than Michael.

I agree with the anti-SNL/anti-MADtv sentiments existing around the Internet, but that's to be expected since the two shows are competing against each other. And I feel that there's a good amount of anti-SNL attitudes on this very forum. Hell, MADMADMAD showed a lot of anti-SNL feelings. Even a few current members around here harbor anti-SNL vibes. You know who you are.

I don't hate SNL, but I don't like watching it anymore. I have some respect for SNL, but it's really time for that show to go. I'm sure it won't be really missed.

I have a friend who hates MAD Tv just because of the fact that it is competition for SNL- And because apparently because SNL has been around longer, MAD TV is a cheap rip-off. Since I've never seen an episode of SNL in my life, I'll just stick to MAD TV. If you want to see hostility to competing shows- Check out the Survivorsucks forum. They are so anti-friends (Survivor's thursday 8pm competition) that its just scary what they talk about sometimes. Very scary.

Yeah, but Mo could get the same eyes when she did certain roles like Crispy Bangs Kathy, and IMO they sometimes have the same saggy cheeks, which is noticeable IMO when Mo isn't shlacked with ten tons of makeup.
