  Stephnie Weir plays Mrs. Leona Campbell, a kind, elderly woman who likes wearing leisure suits and has a habit of catching people in stupid situations off guard with her truthful commentary, making them look like fools. She does this with no malicious intent. Mrs. Campbell's best friend is an overweight woman named Zelda who has yet to appear in a sketch.

I love mrs. L. Though I'm wondering about the blurb... I'm not sure I agree that she has no malicious intent. In fact, I think she's a very intelligent woman with heaps of common sense and more than a few opinions up her sleeve, especially when it comes to modern ways of living. She's a wake-up call for us who do things that are truly stupid, but we've come to think of as normal. Plastic surgery, bungee jumping, enormous cars, the electoral system, letting our kids see violent movies, Donald Trump's hair. In her own hilarious double-layered Texas style, she basically holds up a mirror up to us all. She'd just never be rude about it.

She's definatley one of my most favourite character's of the great Steph Weir!

The movie theatre one rocks my socks, I love it when she says 'I tell ya, Zelda? She ain't got now business doing magic, Fat as she is...'
