Default Cold Case (#918)

Lily Rush- Stephnie Weir
Ruldoph Washington III- Keegan Michael Key
Guy- Josh Meyers
Girl- Nicole Parker
Cop- Daniele Gaither

Voiceover: Your watching CBS, we now return to Cold Case.

Cop: You sure you want this file? Thats a cold case, that brother was convicted over twenty years ago.

Lily Rush: Well maybe it's time that we unconvict him. (Looks at picture of crime scene) Come on talk to me, talk to me, talk.....

(Flashes back to the nineteen seventies. Philadelphia, June 4th 1976 to be exact )

Ruldoph Washington III: Hey you guys going to the bicentennial celebration?

Guy: Yeah we'll be there man.

Ruldoph Washington III: Righteous. Keep on truckin'.

Musical Interlude: (In the theme of "???? - The 70's") This is a flashback to the seventies thats why we're using a song from that time. Look at the costumes, hear the way they talk, cause it's better here in the seventies.

Girl: Gonna wear your American flag pants?

Guy: Yeah, to your funeral. ( Starts bashing Girl with an old bell).

(Goes back to present day with Lily still looking at the photo of the crime scene)

Lily Rush: Come on, talk to me , talk to me.

Musical Interlude: (In the theme of "Billy Joel - She's Always A Woman To Me") She can solve an old murder or any such crime. She can figure it out in fourty four minutes time. She's got one expression she wants you to see. Being both types of floodlights she always appears wrinkle free. Ohhh take a look at her hair, its a rat's nest up there but it somehow still shines. Ohhhh she's a working class cop with no money to shop, still she wears Calvin Klein.

(Lily finds a picture with the Guy pretending to strangle his girlfriend.)

Lily Rush: I know who i need to talk to.

(Cuts to new scene at the dock where it shows the Guy working)

Musical Interlude: (In the theme of "Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer") It's late and he works out on the dock. Bon Jovi has a song that has the word dock so we use it for this part of the story.

Lily Rush: And i thought your generation was gonna change the world.

Guy: Guess what? The world changed me.

Lily Rush: Well it's too bad your girlfriend never got a chance to find out if she was gonna change the world or the world was gonna change her. And, too bad your black friend is serving time for a murder that you committed.

Guy: I oughta bash your brains in. (Looks around for some thing to do this).

(Lily holds up the old bell which the Guy used to kill his girlfriend)

Musical Interlude: Whoooa! She knows he's the one. Pretty soon the show will be done, it's just one big music video. Watch us now as we go to slow mo.

(Cuts to a scene in a prison)

Musical Interlude: (In the theme of "Don Henley - End of the Innocence") Remember when the show began there was a jailed African-American. He's free and now he can raise his fist up high.

Lily Rush: Hey Rudy. Welcome to the outside.

Ruldoph Washington III: Thanks. What's wrong with your hair?

(Cuts back to the dock)

Musical Interlude: Now the real killer is going to jail and he is really mad. There's the girl that got murdered don't her eyes look sad. And now the rain comes falling down, here comes some snow blowing round. Stuff looks cooler when it's slowed, here comes the end, now its the end, of the episode.

I am not sure of this. but from an understandable viewpoint, would it be change the "world"? I dunno... could be wrong.

In the theme of "She's always a woman to me" by Billy Joel

I only know this because that red headed dude on American Idol was singing it about 2 minutes ago...

Thumbs Up The Music.

I loved that Cold Case sketch. That was fuuuuny!!!!! They kept making fun of her hair and that weird music.

Heres the guy who works at the dock,
Bon Jovi has a song with the word dock,
so we used it,
for this part,
of the story!

This is done to the theme of Don Henley's "End of the Innocence". Just an FYI.

I really hate "reviving" old threads, but the song is "More Than A Feeling" by Boston

Default Song Title

Hey, reviving an old thread here after typing some lyrics into Google cuz they were in my head.

The first song (with the flashback to the 70s) is the tune of Boston's "More Than A Feeling."
