I remember playing a battle toads game on SNES once. I rented it I think. Now that I think back, how did they not get sued by the teenage mutant ninja turtles guys for totally ripping them off?

I loved those beat em up games. Battletoads and Double Dragon was pretty sweet too.
I even liked the old power ranger games that played like double dragon.

It was all about SNES megaman when I was a kid. My favorite game for the SNES was Megaman X. I played it on an emulator recently to discover that I must have been REALLY good at those stupid little jump and shoot games when I'm a kid because I couldn't get anywhere.

Might be time to rethink your position on the Wii, Nem.

Yeah okay Know that I'm not saying I'd kick her out of bed but what about her gets her to the top of all these "OMG HAWT" lists? Her body isn't anything outstanding. In all honesty I'd rather have sex with Rachael Ray (if she weren't allowed to talk).

Hey, Rachel Ray isn't all that bad looking. I'd hit it.
(Geez, I sound like a 13-year-old right now...)

Is there some relationship you know of between Jessica alba and Nintendo?

Because if not I have some eerie info...

A few days ago I read an article about how much she loves Nintendo and the DS. Weird coincidence that 2 grood things would be in the same article

So I've been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl and its pretty darn good. It's not specifically a horror game but its got some eerie aspects to it and there are some parts that managed to scare the hell out of me. In fact my last save point sets the game at night time and I know theres some freaky stuff about to happen, I've almost been avoiding playing It's definitely not like any FPS I've ever played though.

Oh and speaking of vidja games I happened across some clips from Halo 3 multiplayer and I can't help but get the lulz. I don't care how pretty you can make your game, you're trying to aim in a first person shooter using thumbsticks. Whenever you see someone aim they first move the crosshairs horizontally and then vertically. FPS on console: strictly for the douches

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm going to stay away from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. right now, just like I'm staying the hell away from Vista. It's supposedly one of the most demanding games on the market (right up there with the ATI-ass kissing Oblivion and Rainbow Six Vegas), yet it's not well optimized - meaning that graphically it's not quite as good as the aformentioned lickers of ATI's hairy ass. (though S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is HARDLY a slouch, mind you) That, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. isn't my cup of tea...

While we're at it with the Vista bashing, I find out that Halo 2 (finally) comes out on the PC, only to discover...it's a DirectX 10-only game and requires Windows Vista. I've already made a vow to never touch Vista with a 20-foot pole (at least in the near future), and the fact that Halo 2 (a game I've wanted to play for years) requires everyone's favorite OS isn't exactly confidence inspiring...so I did what any sad panda would do in my situation, and got the original Halo instead. Also, I can't wait until 2012 so that Halo 3 will be available for the PC.
