Default Christina Moore Starring in UPN Pilot

And yet another new pilot. This story is from thefutoncritic.com:
THE BAD GIRL'S GUIDE (UPN) - Marcelle Larice, Christina Moore ("Hyperion Bay"), Stephanie Childers ("Less Than Perfect") and Johnathan McClain ("Happy Family") have been revealed as the principal cast members of the Jenny McCarthy-led comedy series. Here's how the network's press materials describe the project: "Charming and self-confident, JJ [McCarthy] is the ultimate bad girl. Living life to the fullest and never one to turn down fun with her girlfriends, JJ ultimately believes she will settle down when she finds Mr. Right, as long as he doesn't cramp her bad girl style. JJ's co-worker Holly [Larice], a fun-loving, divorcee who vows to never marry again, doesn’t believe in moderation and occasionally pushes her bad girlness to the limit. Rounding out the trio is Sarah [Moore], JJ’s smart and attractive roommate, who is ready for marriage and life as a responsible adult, but finds herself lured into the bad girl antics of best friends JJ and Holly."

"As two successful advertising executives, JJ and Holly struggle to maintain their creative and spontaneous nature while working in a structured corporate environment and staying one step ahead of their anti-bad girl supervisor Irene [Childers]. However, JJ and Holly find solace in Patric [McClain], the receptionist, who despite being engaged, relishes in being "just one of the girls" by helping JJ and Holly keep it together at work. By embracing the bad girl ideals, JJ, Holly and Sarah search for a perfect balance of love, career and friendship, but on their own terms, and use their wits, determination and charm to deal with any situation that comes their way." Robin Schiff and Tony Krantz are behind the project, which comes from Palm Tree Productions and Flame Television in association with Paramount Network Television.
This one sounds like it could be good too. I wonder if any other alumni might have picked up a pilot.

Again, there's no word yet on when this new series will air, so keep checking back for updates.

Update by Cat_Named_CeCe on 5/19/05:
Christina's new show premieres next Tuesday the 24th at 9pm EST. For more info, click here.

Looks like Christina's show is the first one to make the airwaves:
A day after Britney Spears announced her pregnancy, UPN set a due date for its show about the pop star and her husband, Kevin Federline.

The still-untitled show, which will chronicle the couple’s relationship through video footage the two shot themselves, will premiere at 9 p.m. May 17. UPN has ordered six episodes.

The following week, UPN will unveil a new comedy, “The Bad Girl’s Guide,” to pair with the Spears show and give UPN an original programming block that will carry into the summer. “Bad Girl’s,” based on a series of books by Cameron Tuttle, follows three friends (Jenny McCarthy, Marcelle Larice and Christina Moore) who live by their own set of rules.

The Britney-and-Kevin “documentation of love” will consist primarily of home videos the two shot in the months leading up to their marriage last fall. UPN also is shooting some new footage, however, which means that Spears’ pregnancy could also be addressed.

The Spears show and “The Bad Girl’s Guide” will take over the timeslot currently held by “Veronica Mars,” which ends its first season May 10. The network’s other summer plans haven’t been announced, although the unscripted series “R U the Girl with T-Boz and Chilli” could be ready to go by then.

Default RE: Christina Moore's UPN Pilot

It's good to see her move on and do more TV work. I liked her on MADtv, and wished she stayed longer, but I'll live. Yeah so it's good to see her do more TV work.

There's a preview of (I think) the pilot episode available on the www.UPN.com website homepage. I haven't watched it yet though. It starts May 24th.

Here's a summary from UPN.com:
BAD GIRL'S GUIDE
Premieres Tuesday, May 24 9:30 ET/PT

In UPN's new comedy THE BAD GIRL'S GUIDE, JJ (Jenny McCarthy) is living life to the fullest and, never one to turn down fun with her girlfriends, she ultimately believes she will settle down when she finds Mr. Right, as long as he doesn't cramp her bad girl style. JJ's co-worker Holly (Marcelle Larice), a fun-loving, divorcee who vows to never marry again, doesn't believe in moderation and occasionally pushes her bad girlness to the limit. Rounding out the trio is Sarah (Christina Moore), JJ's smart and attractive roommate who is ready for marriage and life as a responsible adult, but finds herself lured into the bad girl antics of best friends JJ and Holly.

As two successful advertising executives, JJ and Holly struggle to maintain their creative and spontaneous nature while working in a structured corporate environment and staying one step ahead of their anti-bad girl supervisor Irene. However, JJ and Holly find solace in Patric, the receptionist, who despite being engaged, relishes in being "just one of the girls" by helping JJ and Holly keep it together at work.

"The Guide To Procrastination"

In the May 24 premiere episode JJ and Holly find creative ways to procrastinate when they must come up with an ad campaign for boring laundry detergent. Meanwhile, JJ helps her friend and roommate Sarah (Christina Moore) through a crisis with an old boyfriend.

THE BAD GIRL'S GUIDE is produced by Palm Tree Productions and Flame Television in association with Paramount Network Television. Robin Schiff is executive producer and showrunner. Tony Krantz is executive producer. Cameron Tuttle is co-executive producer and author of the best-selling series The Bad Girl's Guide (Chronicle Books).

I missed it, even though I meant to watch it. It looks like I didn't miss much.
