YAY! Madtvs finally gettin its publicity! Just in german class the other day a kid brought it up (not the awards, just madtv in general) and like im surprised how many kids watch it at my school!

most people in my school watch SNL. but some watch MadTv. In homeroom the other day, a girl was describing this other pathetic girl, and she said "she smells like peanut butter and lonliness" and i jumped up and yelled "thats from madtv!!!!" lol. and the other day when i was going to my locker, this sophomore goes "and there's this little kid who goes 'dooooont!' " and he did the stuart thing, lmao. and earlier this year in algebra, this girl goes "what does mama say?" and then laughed with her friends.

then i have some friends to claim to love madtv but the only character they know is stuart, which frustrates me

A lot of people at my school watch MADtv, which is surprising - I didn't expect so many sophomores and juniors to be fans. I was wearing my MADtv shirt (courtesty of MADtvstore.com) and a whole bunch of people came up to me and said something like "Hey, I watch that show". Unfortunately, several of them mentioned Stuart (and nothing else).

like all the kids at my school watch MADtv (but I'm most obsessed. I have pics of them all over my binder). none watch SNL. If anyone from MADtv lived in my town they would be like mobbed and people would be surrounding their house.

There was another article on it in the latest issue....

This one had a big picture of Nicole Ritchie as Kelly Ripa from 1011...

The border says "Is it Kelly Ritchie?"

below it says "The fake blonde award" and the small article says " The Simple Life's Nicole Ritchie appears to be branching out--at Kelly Ripa's expense. Recently, Paris Hilton's partner in crime appeared on the Fox sketch show MADtv, above in a bit that poked fun of the Live With Regis And Kelly host. The skit reenacted a popular shampoo commercial in which Ripa keeps tossing her blond locks around. No word on any future comedy roles for Ritchie, but if The Simple Life thing doesn't pan out, this could be her meal ticket!"
and the caption under the real Kelly Ripa's picture says "MADtv may have spoofed Kelly Ripa, but Ripa probably laughed along if she watched."

"if she watched" I bet if it were SNL it'd say "when she watched it" cheap shot I know but "if she watched it" they make it sound like barely anyone watches it.

Too bad they didn't mention Nicole's Sarah Jessica Parker or Danielle's original character Vienetta Jones (was that her name?)
