Default My Computer's being stupid.

For some reason it will not let me go to any other website but this one. So I'm stuck here. It's the only place on the internet I can go. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!?

Hah, weird. Intesting too. Does this happen after you restart your computer and reconnect to the Internet? Have you cleared your cookies/file cache? If you've got a router, powercycle it as well as your cable or DSL modem.

Hmm, I've got a question. If I were to upgrade from Windows 98 to Windows XP would I lose my files?

You *shouldn't* lose any data files during the upgrade, but you should backup your files just in case. There is always a chance that something could screw up and you could lose your files, but definately back up before.

Or if you have a mouse with a scrollwheel, hold the CTRL (Control) button on your keyboard, and scroll the wheel up or down to decrease the size. That's probably how it changed by accident.

Its because theres alot of dust in it. Take it to a computer repair store to be cleaned and then do your best to keep your tower away from dusty areas.

Or, you could take a vacuum and clean the system as much as possible. Poor ventilation causes the fan to work harder...obviously.

Here's a question... you know how some sites have videos on them that have to buffer? But they still play in a windows media like player? How can I save the actual video to my computer so I can play it in my windows media player without it having to load(buffer)? It downloads itself to the Temporary Internet files folder but its only a 1 KB sized file and when i open it it plays the streaming/buffering video...

Can anyone help?
