Yeah she's funny, but a little ditzy

No she makes her characters all ditzy tramps to make fun of that stereotype and I love how she does it. I do agree she should come back next season. Hopefully she'll have some characters too! She is a great actress, very versitile, great chemistry with the cast, very funny and has her own style. She has really only done a few impressions and I'm impressed without them...that says a lot! But my fav featured player is Ron Pederson! I like her better than Josh though and he's pretty good as well.

Oh I agree that Christina is prettier than Nicole. But that's not what counts. Nicole has proven herself to be a terrific castmember, and Christina has to prove herself yet. From what I've seen so far, she's pretty good. I do hope they hire her as a regular for next season. Nicole is still my favourite blondie though, lol!

Yeah, Nicole's my favorite blond one too (if you don't count Stephnie in season six). I think there's a chance it could've been Kathryn Fiore, but she didn't stick around for even a full season, so I won't say. The only other blond is Andrew Daly (ew) and Dannah Feinglass (only around for a few episodes). Well, Bryan Callen was sorta blond, but not blond blond... if he was then he would be my favorite.

Like I've said before.. Christina hasn't done a single bad thing to make me dislike her.. but she still hasn't REALLY impressed me yet, and her acting is pretty much the same all the time, and she hasn't convinced me that she is a proper replacement for Jill, who IMO had great versatility. Her News Reporter pales in comparison to Jill's.

Dannah was a brunette. Brooke Totman was a brunette too but had blond hair a few episodes maybe that's what you're thinking of. Taran Killam had blond hair remember and he was really hotttt!

Only on tape. I've been extremely lazy in making new vidcaps for about 3 months now... I think i'll just wait till Season 8 is done and then I'll do a bunch.

Maybe he puts it onto a DVD or something, and then he puts it in.

Well you need a video capture card for your computer, either a separate PCI card, or sometimes the main video card has a video input like mine does. Then all you do is feed it the output from your VCR, and use special software to capture the video, then you can encode it with different compression methods, like MPEG, WMV, Quicktime, etc... And you need a decent computer and lots of hard drive space.

Yeah Tarza you can download the encoders, but you still need a hardware video capture device. And besides, when you buy one, they usually come with all the required software.

I have to agree. I think Christina's just fine, but she hasn't stood out very much with me yet. She needs to do a goofy role before I can figure it out. I feel like all I've seen her do is get annoyed with certain other characters (Stuart/Mickey/Connie Chung). Or she's half dressed.

She's much better than Kathryn Fiore though, I'll give her that. I never understood why people liked her. She bored me bigtime.

As for Jill, imo, she had what it took to be a big hit on the show. I'm not sure how to articulate it, but she just had a spark in her that really reminded me of Alex. She never held anything back.

But like I said, I do like Christina, but she still has a little ways to go before I really like her.

Jill really reminded me of Nicole. She just looked like her a lot, and she really had good chemistry with just about everyone. Christina really hasn't impressed me that much yet, but she'll grow on us, I'm sure. She kinda reminds me of Nicole too, with the "ditzy blonde" roles.

I think Kathryn was overrated too, although I still really liked her. I just don't think she's "perhaps the only good thing about season seven" as Rob said.

But yeah, Jill is my favorite of the new girls. You're right, she is a lot like Alex - very sarcastic, and could do a variety of voices and wacky impressions (for example their O'Donnel and Barrymoore impressions ripped apart the celebrities). IMO she's been the only proper replacement for Alex, and unfortunately she's already gone
