Awful picture, but here's something interesting. Lanced mole? Or a year's salary worth of coverup?

lol, if she's doing it to save her career I think she's about a year or 2 late. Either way, I am disappointed a bit if she got it lanced, whatever that is. The whole point of her being as hot as she is is that she's a bit off, a bit different.

Depending on the motivation behind it, I could go either way on this one. If it was done for vanity and is but a taste of procedures to come (which, based on the persona she puts forth, seems unlikely), my opinion of her is about to drop through the floor; if it was done for her career (which, unless she plans on throwing a new pair of funbags on top of that, seems futile and, therefore, equally unlikely), I'd sooner continue to wait patiently; if it was done for health reasons (which would be my guess), hey, better she not develop cancer and die on us. But we'll probably never know for certain. What I *do* know is that, physically, that thing wasn't doing her any favors, and if it is, indeed, gone for good, I, for one, won't miss it. It's not the mini-turd on her brow that makes this girl unique.

Yeah I guess that's a pretty good point. It was just weird/kinda nice to see someone actually get somewhat famous these days that didn't have a completely pristine face like everyone else in the spotlight. Her weird mouth (best way I can describe it in ASCII would be :\/) is probably the odd thing about her I found most attractive.
If she somehow corrects that, gets ANY sort of breast augmentation or any other kind of facial surgery that isn't a result of being mauled by a wild chimip, I'm unsubscribing to this thread and trashing all my Glau-related files. __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. ![]() Didn't feel like dredging up old memories by going through tons of TSCC footage for a good shot so I found the first instance I could. Her mouth kinda goes sideways (always left side) on some words. It's like someone hooked her cheek with a fishing hook and yanks on the line momentarily. __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. Ah, interesting. Hadn't noticed that before. That's... tight.

Summer Glau moves to 'The Cape'
And it's not even a cop or medical drama. Big ups to my main man, Jesus! __________________ /bw |

This show sounds awful, and it even has the NBC credit to prove it. This show really does sound like it's going to be one of the lamest shows next season. Dare I say it sounds Glauful

Summer Glau ends up on 2 quality shows, Firefly (shut up bw), TSCC, both get axed abruptly. Her comeback is a made for tv movie about some dude who fell off a boat and a low budget superhero show. Fuck TV.

Her role doesn't even sound that big. If you look at the article I posted she's like the last actress mentioned in the press release. Along with that, the storyline also looks pretty shitty. It looks like it should be a comedy, and since it's not, it's probably going to suck.

I'd seriously prefer to watch her in ANYTHING else but a superhero show. I don't know what it is about adults in the past few years where it's become everyone's secret fantasy to be a superhero but it sure is resulting in some horrible tv/film being churned out. I don't understand why Glau doesn't go find more gigs doing Sci Fi stuff like on Syfy or something like that. She's made a name for herself in the genre. Maybe her asking price is too high.

Best possible outcome: she stars in some space-themed sci-fi show comparable to BSG and I have a massive nerdgasm.
Close runner-up: She waits too long and debt catches up with her, she misses out on the "tasteful" men's mags and ends up posing for a less reputable one. Everyone wins. __________________ An invariant mass requires rest energy without a HITCH, which makes Newton's second law as it appears in a nonrelativistic classical mechanics sitch, BIATCH. Best possible outcome: Summer's vaginal juices dripping down the shaft of my penis while Joss Whedon looks on from an adjacent room slowly filling with HCl.
Close runner-up: TSCC is resurrected, surpasses Law & Order and Gunsmoke to become the longest-running drama of all-time. Close runner-up to the runner-up: Summer, Reiko, Abby, and Jessica Marais star in the television adaptation of Dragonlance's "Chronicles" trilogy, ratings are unparalleled by any show in broadcast history, fantasy dramas become the new cop/medical dramas. Best realistic outcome: Summer, Reiko, and Abby star in a sitcom of some sort. Best outcome we can possibly hope for given the current state of network television, the bankrolls of cable, and her style of acting: The Cape. Deal with it. ![]() __________________ /bw |
