i bought a couple of NY books to get idea of what to do and apparently theres a parade or sumsing

and no i am not rolling in money.i don't have to pay a house loan off,i paid off my car loan months ago.i don't have a lot of expenses atm other then ur basics(monthly phone bill,weekly board,food) so i'm able to save up the money to do it.i won't be travelling again for a while after this one cause i do want to go buy myself a house and that'll be mucho expensive

They are iffy at best at the moment. I'll have to let you know as it gets closer.

Little message for you tarza. If you ever run into trouble like you lost your passport or plane tickets or something, and you can't get in touch with the Australian Embassy, you can always go to a fellow Commonwealth realms embassy like Canada's or England's, and they should help you. It's Commonwealth code (at least that's what I've heard).

This is probably meaningless I know but hey if it does happen you'll be glad this information is there.
