I saw someone somewhere at some point asking how to get listed on our official Facebook group. Since I'm between bans at the moment, now's the time to get your requests in. I'll need a profile link, and, obviously, you'll need to join the group first.

P.S.: Any and all general Facebookery can go here as well. For some reason, we didn't have a thread until just now.

The dad is probably a racist but the daugher sounds like an ungrateful twat.

Does anyone here use a desktop application (such as TweetDeck) to access Facebook? If so, which would you suggest?

Hmm. The facebook interface is nice enough that I just use that but for twitter, I use twhirl (now owned by Seesmic) and I really like it.

No Facebook support in twhirl at this time, it seems. For those of us who haven't crossed over to the dark side, it appears our only (worthwhile) options are TweetDeck and Seesmic Desktop. I'll take both for a spin sometime soon and report back with my findings.

I'm under the impression that ANY Page you tie to your account, whether it's an interest or a "like", will show up in your News Feed. Is this correct?

I think so. You could probably tweak it in your privacy settings to not do that, especially since Facebook is just starting to get responsive about privacy concerns. It probably varies by the type of app you are adding too.
