Perhaps it will be edited, like some other encore sketches are. God knows it needs it, Dolemite sketches are always too long.

Man, I hate this Dolecrap.

I don't recognize this Dolemite. Are you sure it's Encore? Unless I missed the "Encore" brand in the corner. I don't see ne now.

Ugh! I hate when they waste time with this!

So far this episode's missing a lot. Not just Nicole.

I dunno. I think it's starting to suffer the "Simpsons Syndrome". It just misses something. I'm this close to switching over to SNL.

PLEASE don't tell me there's a Music guest. Another 10 minutes wasted.

Well, next week looks good. This week is lost as far as I can tell. Unless the next 10 minutes hold something good..

So far, this Softball skit isn't winning me over. Wait... Ok.. I see. Just a showcase for Bobby Lee. Still, why waste time?

There is 5 minutes.. I smell a flop this week.

Today's episode should have said Saturday Night Live on the beginning. The sketches were short and contrived. They started out funny and then ran out the bottom. They were also entirely too nice, just like SNL. The Providence pilots might have been more funny if they didn't have the actual star in it. It was too SNL.

The two saving sketches were the psychotic teenage girl who was camping with her parents and Bobby playing his angry dad at the little league game.

I'm watching SNL right now. It looks like it should have said MadTV at the beginning.

Sketches I liked:
"Katie" being embarrassed by her parents during the camping trip. Glad she's recurring but not overused. This was only the second sketch for her, right? I really liked it.

Courtroom Wordplay: LOL, I just *knew* Michael wrote it. I can't believe they got away with the "Mike-ock" part!

Little League game sketch. I thought the ending of this one is what saved the whole thing.

Sketches that were okay:
Entertainment Tonight/Providence
Change of Heart with Walter and Amber (these characters are getting old)
Stereotype/racist sketch

Sketches I didn't like:
Dolemite
Stoner News: what a waste!

How come everyone hates the Dolemite sketches? Have you even seen the movie? It couldn't be more dead on. The horrible acting, the choppy fight scenes, the generic sound effects, and of course the nymphos. It couldn't get closer to the movie.

I thought the Dolemite sketches were good at first. But now they're just overused and repetitive. I've seen bad acting before. I don't need to see more. It was funny once. It's time that could have been used for better recurring characters.

The episode isn't on for another hour. But I've never seen a Dolemite movie...But 70s movies are bad pretty much.

providence was the funniest

stereotypes was ok

dolemite - the only thing funny about any of the dolemites is will's voice and face

the rest sucked...the worst i've seen this season. katie just wasn't funny at all, nor was the baseball skit. courtroom wordplay was predictable...not even michael and debra could save that drivel.

bring back those supposedly overused characters!!! give me stuart!! give me kenny rogers!!! overused? maybe...funny? YES!!!

i loved providence
mo was awesome as the mom
melina kanakaredes wasn't wasted and worked really well with the cast
mo's facial expressions were hilarious
kathryn was great in the katie sketch
"nobody wants your stupid smores you freaky faggy idiot" cracked me up so hard
and i liked the sexual harassment with michael
debra made a great lawyer
and... um... everything else was kinda bad
i can't think of anything else i saw
but it was waaaaaaaay better than last weeks
i'll give it a 7.5/10
not an 8 though
too generous

I thought the Little League sketch the best one of the night! The ending was a bit contrived, but Bobby showed some great talent in it! I realize he played up the "Asian angle", but I think that any of the actors would have done fine in the sketch, because there was nothing overly-Asian about the writing. Bobby just gave it his own unique spin, probably based on his own childhood.

I liked the Katie Camping sketch, too. While I loved the first one from earlier in the season, this one was a bit more cruel and had much more biting comments. I think anyone who is over the age of 20 can look back on their teen years and relate to Katie and how mortified she is about everything her parents say or do. I loved Michael's line: "We came up here because we thought it would be a good place to bury you."

What a bad idea to Encore that long, boring Dolemite sketch! I've never found a Dolemite sketch amusing at all.

And where was Will this week?? He was only in the Providence sketch for a few moments, and then in the Stereotype one with Bobby. Other than that (and the Encore, which doesn't really count in my book!), he was MIA. Plenty of Kathryn, Taran and Bobby, though. Is this a sign of things to come....??

That was an awful episode! Kathryn Fiore though, she's going to be a valuable perminant cast member next season.!

I have lost my respect for MAD...well, most of it. They made fun of Whose Line...making Wayne look gay, and Drew look like a bumbling idiot got me soooo pissed off. Grrrr....other than that the ep. was ok...Bobby Lee needs to go. He's just annoying.
