Hi, all. I've been tied up getting the ol' computer running for the past few days, but I *was* aware of this thread, and now that everything's in tip-top shape, I'm here to make my landmark THIRD post of the year!

So, my birthday. It was about as exciting as watching a particularly dreary color of paint dry. Like, maybe a mauve or an off-white. To make a short story even shorter, this thread ended up being the crux of it. No surprises there, though. If there's any bright side to my misery, it's that I've learned over the past few years not to expect anything out of life, because, at best, you tend to receive even less than that. But, uh... don't listen to me, kiddies. The future is bright, Jesus loves you, and happiness is just a Flaming Moe away.

Many thanks to Kurt -- king of the suck-ups himself -- for caring enough to create this thread for someone who, in all likelihood, was never going to see it, and a big wet one goes out to Caity for letting me know of its existence (and for being such a sweet bitch, of course). To all those who sent their well-wishes, I appreciate it. To those who added a little more to their message, I appreciate that... a little more. And to our resident Halo fangirl, you better hope I never see you on Xbox Live. And, uh, that I never get an Xbox. Or broadband. Or the money to purchase these things. Because you better believe I've been practicing up! And even though it was a supreme and colossal waste of my time due to the sky-high suckage factor of the abomination that is Halo, I'm confident that I could now mow through you like newt mows through a terabyte of porn. HA!

In any event, that's it for #3. I'll try to hit 10 by the end of the year just for you, Cat.
