Default Disaster strikes....
I lost over 100GB worth of high quality MADtv episode captures.... god damn hard drive failure. I have not been this pissed in a LONG time.

I managed to rescue some stuff, but lost a good chunk. Anyone recommend a good NAS RAID device? I think in the mean time I will buy a huge external firewire drive.

Well, I do save some of the sketches that you put up on Sketches of The Week. I also have a T1 connection, so if you know what you're missing, I will be happy to upload them up to you again, if you can't recover any of the files.

Well, I am running a recovery utility on the drive. cross my fingers maybe it will allow me to recover some more stuff... new drive too bought it in december... piece of crap... i should have had an external backup...

I have my sketches still, but lost a few complete seasons of video captures, bits and pieces of others... still running the recovery util, it will take all night to process a 250gb hard drive... wish me luck.

My cousin's boyfriend says that you should have 2 hard drives, that way if one starts to fail the stuff will automatically be transferred to the second drive.
