Without a doubt, yes. None of the current males on the show should be the Spishak Spokesman though.

Abso-f**king-lutely. I mean DUUUUUH, it's Spishak. As Kurt (Dartanian) has said in the past, it's a MADtv staple, and should have been in every single season. Cross your fingers that they bring it back for S12...if not...well then let's just say that I won't be held responsible for my future actions, if you catch my drift...**

Next season for sure. I think some castmembers could do it. Maybe Frankd Caeti if he returns or a femal cast member...

I wanna say yes, but considering how awful the last Spishak sketch was, I'm not sure. And the only one from season 8 that I really liked was the "Hey, It's Ovens for Kids."

As far as none of the current males should be the OFFICIAL Spishak guy, I agree, but they could always do a couple with different cast members (like how Phil and Craig did some before they finally settle on Pat). Except Ike, though -- he needs to stay the hell away from Spishak.

Maybe Michael Hitchcock could do the Spishack guy.

I'd disagree. We need castmembers doing sketches these days, not writers.

Actually, Michael Hitchcock would make a much better Spishak spokesperson than all the other male castmembers currently on, but that's just me.

As much as I like Spishak, I'd rather they leave it alone than try to ruin it by having subpar actors try to emulate Pat/Josh. Er, might sound complicated but that's what I think. You never know next season.

I think this is an Ike-free thing He's probably going to remain the homo in the commercials.

I'd love to see more Spishak. It would certainly beat some of the bad sketches that they have recurred over and over again in season 11.

As far as who should play the Spishak guy...maybe Frank Caeti? I dunno, nobody really stands out in my mind.

i think Spishak shoul;d be brought back, but honestly i do agree with everyone else that nobody could really pull off our expectations of Spishak. But maybe it's somebody elses turn to put their own spin on the Spishak salesman.
I would at least give it a chance but if anyone can do it i do agree with caeti, i think he could pull it off the best.

Yes and no. Yes because I love spishak. It was hilarious and I really wish they would bring it back. But no because I think Pat Kilbane was the best Spishak spokesman and I'm not sure anybody else could measure up. Unfortunetly I have missed this entire season so far, so I couldn't tell you who could possibly replace him. I really need to catch up....

I think they should, Michael Hitchcock, although a writer, would do a good job IMHO....

I think if they had to pic a castmember, I'd rather they had frank caeti...

No! They would have to get a new guy to play the Spishak guy. No one can do it as well as Pat Kilbane.

Default RE: Spishak

I'd like to see Spishak come back! I loved those sketches! Pat Kilbane did such a great job, Josh did too. As long as there still funny as hell like the previous ones then I'm good! My favorite ones include: Home Movie Theathre, Radiated Christmas Lights, My First Oven, Excuses Excuses Excuses '98 among many more!
