MADtv's Funkenstein series pays tribute to 70's b-horror classics such as Blacula and Blackenstein. These films have become infamous for their high camp and low quality, much like the Dolemite series (which MADtv has also parodied), but with a monstrous twist. Funkenstein features Keegan-Michael Key as Dr. Funkenstein and Jordan Peele as his sinister creation, Funkenstein. Past sketches have featured Funkenstein at odds with such super villains as The Creature from the White Lagoon, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Werewolf. On this Saturday's episode of MADtv, Funkenstein faces his greatest foe yet: the fearsome Queen Nefertiti!
