[MADtv] Debra Wilson returns to MADtv in time to bid farewell to Aries Spears

The next MADtv taping, Friday January 14th, is a milestone in two aspects. It marks the return of Debra Wilson in a guest appearance and it will also be Aries Spears' final episode, who has been a part of the series since season three. Both Aries and Debra are remembered as being MADtv's longest running cast members, with eight seasons a piece.

Hopefully Debra will bring back a memorable recurring character or two, such as Bunifa, Cloret, Oprah or Whitney. In any case, it will be great to see her back. An air date has not yet been set for the episode, but it will probably be toward the end of the season.

Maybe that means they will be an audio commentary for the MADtv Season 2 DVD when it comes out later this year.

Thats great. I can't wait to see Debra back. I still fume a bit after they didn't even do anything special for Debra when she left, or Mo for that matter. I wonder what this "farewell to Aries" will be?

Yep it will be sad to see him. Even though some of us (not me) said they thought he did bad his season I thought he was great. He's been one of my favorites and one of the shows best and I love his Bill Cosby impression. I know it's easy to do (around my school) but his is just so great. I'll miss you Aries.

If I remember right, she left because she and the proucucers had different views reguarding the show and also $. If she was asked to leave then I wouldn't expect her back again, but I was hoping for this day!
