Exclamation How the Top 10 music videos placed..

1. The Greatest 19.99%
2. Lady MADtv 17.28%
3. Hidin'In My Closet 11.92%
4. Whatever Don't Matter 10.87%
5. I'm Not A Child 9.67%
6. What's On TV 9.32%
7. Beyonce 6.93%
8. Like I Am You 6.64%
9. Love Me Better 4.44%
10. Sound-A-Like 2.93%

Well there you have it

Damn.. the Shakira one was so close too argh.. I find it hard to believe that "The Greatest" beat it by almost 10%

And what the hell happened with "Sound-A-Like"! That one was awesome, even "Love Me Better" placed higher than it Wow.. I seriously think something went wacko when the computer was tallying the votes..

Or maybe it's the eggheads that even come up to vote in the first place. I suppose none of them have even watched half of the sketch choices on MADtv.

I'm simply baffled how people could have voted "The Greatest" as the top music video. My votes were 1st shakira, 2nd madtv, 3rd hiding in my closet. The video is stupid, showcasing teen porn. pretty sad if you ask me.

It was a great parody of R. Kelly, but it didn't even deserve third place. There were LOTS of videos better than "The Greatest."

Good thing Rob wasn't reviewing that episode, he said that The Greatest was the worst music video parody of season 7! Where is Rob by the way, he said he was joing this board?

It was a horrible parody. Perhaps I'm a bit biased because I don't like R. Kelly or that style of high pitched whining so called music.

Aries accurately parodied R. Kelly's sexual relationships with minors, and the lyrics were pretty funny also. Still, it was undeserving of third place... Once again, there were better videos.

I agree 100%. I wouldn't even have minded if it was third, but no way should it be first. It was accurate and funny after all the hype about R. Kelly, but not the best overall parody of seasons 7 & 8.

I agree - "The Greatest" is one of those sketches that is hilarious the first time you see, okay the second, and boring by the third. The first Loopgarue and Hula-hoop sketch was like this too, although for different reasons.

BTW Mad Dog he didn't think "The Greatest" was terrible.. he called it "a bit mediocre." There wasn't a season seven video parody that he really disliked.

What, can't a woman be powerful and confident? I'm politician material and one day I'm going to be the first Canadian female Prime Minister to be voted in 2 back to back majority governments for a conservative party. Secondly, my b/f has only admitted to being a little bi, he seems a lot less than most of you limpwristed twinkies appear somedays!

I'm pretty sure that if you're bi, you're equally straight and gay.

Are you screening your calls -
It's mom
We wanted to call and say we love you
And we'll miss you tomorrow

Oh, I hope you like the hot plate
Just don't leave it on dear

Because it was aired only a week before the countdown episode, so most people didn't see it when they voted already. Besides, who wants to see a sketch that they just saw last week?

They only ever make fun of Rap/R&B/Pop videos, never rock. Will Sasso did all the rock video parodies (Limp Bizkit, Sugar Ray, Creed/Pearl Jam/The Calling). Besides that, they did Alanis Morissette (Wash Me), Stephnie did Courtney Love and they did a Presidents of the United States of America parody and that's it!

They should've done Red Hot Chili Peppers, the 2002 Nirvana lawsuit, Pop Rock music (Sum 41, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory etc.) those would be great things to cover. Or at least classic rockers like the the Beatles, Rolling Stones and U2.

They could've done a really funny parody of "The Dope Show" video in season four, by Pat Kilbane.. haha
