[MADtv] New red carpet duo

Anyone that has seen Alex and Will on the Red Carpet together knows that they work so well together because they are openly flamboyant personalities (not in a bad way) who are quick on their feet, and compliment each other really well. Unlike alot of people on this board, I like when the cast go to red carpet specials, but I find that alot of the time the people they choose to go on them aren't that great. Of the season 8/9 ones, I think the only people who were *really* great at the live events were Ron, Debra and Mo. 2 of whom aren't on the show anymore. I think that Bobby and Ron work really well together and both are really outgoing and flamboyant, so I'd love to see these 2 on the red carpet together next season. No more Aries, Ike or Paul. Paul was OK at the Emmy's, but I think Ike is awful at these things and Aries is too much of a camera hog. Also, I like when a guy and a girl go, so maybe Daniele or Nicole should be paired with either Ron or Bobby. But that's just my opinion.

I personally just hope they drop those segments completely. I didn't even like them when it was Will and Alex (though that might've been partly because I dislike Will). But I want to see sketches, not interviews, even if they are made to be funny.

I like the Red Carpet thing. It's cool to see movie stars and BIG famous people who actually LIKE and KNOW what MADtv is! As for WHO should do it... my vote is for Paul and Nicole. I'd LOVE to see them do stuff together and I think they'd play off of each other very well.

Most of the red carpet segments on MADtv are pretty good but the pairing of Ike and Aries isnt really the best decision the show has made IMO i would prefer to see a male/female combo as for who i dunno.......it would be cool to see Stephnie and maybe Frank at one of these since they've been on the show for a while, we'll have to see what they do next season.

Stephnie and Ron..i think that would be good because stephnies quick (what with the improve) and ron has already proven he can be really funny at one of these things. i personally love the red carpet segments

I was never a fan of the Red Carpet sketches since Will & Alex left. But I definitely liked the one with Mo Collins & Paul Vogt during Season 9. It was hilarious, they worked very well together. Too bad they won't get a chance to do it again.

Mo and Paul made a great duo at the red carpet; Mo was hilarious in that part. I never liked Aries' jokes, they always seemed dulled out. Stephanie would probably be great on the red carpet; anybody's who's openly crazy would be awesome.

I agree. Aries always just talked about stupid sh*t and acted like he sh*ts diamonds and farts perfume.

THAT was one of my favorite Red Carpet interviews... Paul was *wearing* the red carpet *falls over laughing* Honestly, he's hilarious with improv stuff and I wish they'd give him more of the Red Carpet Stuff. He and Mo play off each other so well, I'd be interested to see if Nicole could, too
