This better not have a Cragg or an Ike and Bobby sketch in it...

...that's just wishful thinking. :/

The good news is that Aries won't be the one giving the season closing

I think there is a "Land Of The Lost" parody sketch on the show and to Knickers if you're wondering this is the Season 11 finale.

This is Season 11, what else would you expect? Lowered Expectations?

Surriously, though, the only sketch I know of airing is the (hopefully?) very last Bae Sung sketch ever.

Sounds like an awesome way to end MAD's worst season to date.

On the other hand, 420 posts! Yeehaw!

I know you don't care, but the reality is that I don't care about you not caring.

Encore: Stuart Gets Lost (#403) (Michael- Stuart, Mo- Doreen, Andrew Bowen, Pat)
The very first Stuart sketch ever...perhaps another omen of Mike McD's departure?

aw i realyl hope the Kurt sketch airs, that would be sweet.
The Cragg sketch might be promising if he gets the crap kicked out of him in the cage fight.

I really really hope they have a good closing, heres hoping.

I'm guessing they'll leave us with a Caeti and Nicole RJ sketch, to cap them off before (wishful thinking) promoting them to full-fledged cast members. Of the above sketches, I don't think we'll see Mr. Anderson, Dr. Phil, and possibly the Dinklers.

Either way, all the sketches look to be interesting, to say the least, and it doesn't look like a horrible season finale after all.

I heard that the Cragg won't air, but that's all I know at the moment.

Til Krump Do Us Part isn't either. Crista sent out an email about the Three Minute Meals sketch (she's starring in it, playing Wendy Walker) and I emailed her about Krumpin' and she said the audience reaction wasn't strong enough when they taped the sketch, so it won't be airing.

ok so far so good i guess, no Cragg and hopefully some better showcase of NRJ and Caeti, that would be friggen sweet. Unfortunately Krumpin isnt coming, that makes me sad since krumping was one of my favourites.

I just really really really hope this is a good finale. And i really do hope both NRJ and Caeti come back, they are both very good additions to the show.

Bad audience reaction? Bummer. But they can always add some laugh tracks can't they? Watching back, I swear I hear the Bobby Lee cackle atleast once every sketch. I would have liked oned last Krump this season.

No Cragg is better than.... well, nothing is better than no Cragg. No encores in season finales would be good, too. Why not kick of Stuart month and end with a new episode? No matter, #1119 was kick-ass.

Does Michael have any suprises for us in the closer, Caitlinnn?

Unbelievable. Of all the Stuart sketches featuring Mo, three of the absolutely worst were chosen. I don't mean to toot the Sully horn again, but to me, the best Stuarts are the ones featuring Nicole S.'s straight roles: the office sketch (my fave), the babysitter sketch, "Stuart at the Zoo," the airport sketch....Hell, I would have even taken the pet store sketch with Alex, the T-ball sketch with Will, even the relatively disappointing S8 sketches--any but the three that were selected. Gotta throw ya a "grrrrrrrrrr" on that one, "MADtv."

But, hey, at least we have one last Bae Sung, right, guys? Um, guys?

If the new Kurt Jones isn't aired I might accidentally throw myself off a bulding and blame whoever decided not to air it...

Is the wiggles that wierd kids show with the creepy puppet people? I hope so. It could be funny.
Its too bad that the season is over now. A lot of people didn't like it clearly but I thought it was still good. I hope that the season is wrapped up well, it started great I think and maybe a sketch that wraps it up like the one that opened the season would be great.

Another agree from me. This was a kickass episode. Also 1109 wasnt that bad either. But 1119 definetly tops my list.

Yeah, the Wiggles are this pedophilish group of Australian men that have been on tv since I was a kid. I'm sure they've got gray hair now. I've found them pretty creepy since I first saw them on tv.

Hmm, I wonder which one Bobby is going to be?

Hi Everyone-

Hope you are doing well. I'm not in LA and haven't talked to anyone, so I'm not sure what will air, but I have a feeling that the Kurt Jones sketch won't. Sorry Caetifan and TJ. Thanks for your support. It went alright, but between the producers, writers, and myself nobody could come to a consenus on the script. We all tried, but in a way everybody wanted something different and therefore the sketch got a little watered down by all the differing input. Also, the fact is there are always too many sketches shot, thus some don't air.

Sorry to hear that some think it has been the worst season of MAD. I think there's always room for improvement, but I think it's been a good year. All bias aside, I though 1119 was a great episode. I hope next year we continue to try to do new things. Some things will work-some won't. I have yet to hear anyone say they love every single sketch. That's the beauty of it all and all the more reason to take chances each and every episode.

I really have no idea who will be back next year-including myself. We'll see. As I've said, it's well beyond my control. I think some group of people meet in an underground bunker someplace and make these decisions.

Have a great summer,

Frank

I hope it's not done Unan1mous-style. I shudder at the thought of Fox reality shows. That aside, I hope many of the current cast members return, and that the execs make the right decisions on who will stay, who will go, and who will come fresh next year.

Thanks making a great season, Frank. The semi-revamp they got from last year I think was a step towards improvement, and bring you, Nicole RJ and Arden on board has really made MAD fun for me. For the record, I thought Season 10 was "worse" then this one.

Welcome back, Frank!

BTW, you've had NOTHING to do with this being the "worst season ever". If anything, you (along with Nicole Randall Johnson) are one of the stronger FPs in quite a while. You already have two recurring characters, one that I like and one that's OK but could use some work. And I agree, #1119 ROCKED. It was hands-down the best episode of the season. If I were to judge from that episode alone, it would be easy to assume that you and NRJ were full-blown castmembers rather than FPs, and even better, you were one of the stronger perfomers that ep. I would think that both you and NRJ will easily make it to S12: You both have good characters, you write your own sketches, and you're both good performers. (And for the record, I'm NOT sucking up. )

P.S.: Don't tell Ike, Bobby, Arden, and Cragg that they ARE the reasons this season has been bad.

Call me crazy, but I would think that the execs ask the audience who they liked the most and who they liked the least. Remember why Ron and Paul 'left', and Ike and Bobby DIDN'T? But ehh, WTF do I know.

god i totally agree. Sometimes the way they make decisions just boggles my mind.
Sad to hear that the Kurt Jones sketch wont air.
Maybe it will be leaked, heres hoping

I definetly do agree with xCagnazzo though, season 10 was worse, but in my mind it was the introduction of Caeti and NRJ onto the scene. By far you guys carried alot of weight off MAD, which gave room for everyone else to definetly grow comedy wise. This year i think everyones performances have greatly improved.

And another agreement.
STOP WITH CRAGG
oh my god
worst friggen sketches i've ever seen
they make me want to punch a baby

and i really do hope that you both make it to season 12, and im sure that you will. And we might even get some wicked new FP next year that will make it even better.

Default RE: Episode #1122

The Official MADtv website says that Bae-Sung will get whacked (killed) & I'm hoping it's true because I hate Bae-Sung & Bobby Lee, they're just not funny! Hopefully this means that Bobby Lee will leave MADtv! I can only hope!
