The Workshop sketch looks like Pat Timberman II.
Overall, I have low expectations. Ha, Lowered Expectations. Hopefully there a few suprises, but I don't think much of Mofaz, Ike+Bobby bits, or these Stuart encores. EDIT: Yeah, Timberman. Pat Tilman is that football player from my area. *slaps head* Last edited by nick; 05/11/2006 at 6:39 PM. |

![]() But I don't know...it looks too over the top IMO...but still, this could be the sketch that could make or break Frank Caeti. As for the video game awards spoof...I don't think I'll like it, simply due to the fact that I more or less KNOW what it will be about (and the award for best looking game goes to...PONG! ![]() __________________ I've gone minimalist now |

Haha whatever, Caeti has already been "made" on the show
![]() I saw the preview for the workshop thingie and it does look over the top but it looks really funny. I remember someone getting electrocuted which, I dunno, is just funny to me. __________________ We All Go A Little MAD Sometimes... There's a short clip of the Video Game Awards sketch up on TV.com. Michael plays Joe Nameth and Arden (I think) plays Farrah Fawcett.

Blah. Okay, so I didn't realize NASCAR was on tonight, which bumped the news back. So, I assumed that the news would take up an hour block, so I only started watching TV at midnight.
So I was in the middle of the Angry Persian Towtruck Man sketch, when he starts to talk about his terrorist aunt Waddles. Lol, I liked it...I guess. It was better than the previous ones. Maybe it's just that it's cute to see Caeti and Caliendo together. That graduation thing... it was good, I guess. I had a double take and realized it was Nicole RJ, who was really funny to me. Love her voice range. And after watching an episode of American Idol (which I normally don't), I think she got the impression down good. The voice squeaking, I'm not sure about that. Then there was that factory worker sketch. From the commercial, I thought I would really dislike this one, since it used grossout humor. I actually enjoyed it. I had the volume down low because my friend needed some sleep, so I couldn't hear the laughter (dunno if there was any). Anyway, I did catch a discrepancy (there's a very quick shot of Bobby with both eyes uncovered), and the expressions were just fantastic, lol. Sounds like something ripped out of a Final Destination film ;X Um...then came the encore. I always laugh when Mo breaks into a giggle. Then came another one of those graduation sketches with William Shatner I think. Nope, this wasn't funny =/ But at least Caliendo and Caeti's performance in the factory one made up for it. Oh and Cragg. LMAO. This was probably the first (and only) Cragg sketch in which I was only cringing at the title sequence. I liked it. I didn't like the IDEA at first, but it was really funny when his friends turned back on him. Heh. From what I saw, which was a little over half, I could say this was good ![]() |

For the Who/What: In the opening sketch there's a Bush impression, and keegan is in it as the speaker....
The video game sketch has Mike as joe namath and arden as farrah fawcett and ike as mark spitz, and keegan, jordan and danielle play 3 of the jackson 5. Um, in the metal workers sketch, I dont think they had names but it was both Franks, keegan, jordan, Ike and bobby.... In the second grad part its Nicole as the first speaker and NRJ as Randy Jackson.... Then there is stuart visits his father Ummm.....then (im trying to remember here).....oh DPTTM with Mike as Mofaz and Keegan as I think Osama Bin laden, with the 2 franks as FBI agents.... um thats all I remember for now ![]() __________________ I would rather sit here and accomplish nothing than accomplish something and be considered an inspiration and a role model simply because I use a wheelchair to get around. |

This episode sucked. Where the hell were the girls? Frank Caliendo was kinda overused. I guess it means that he's leaving.

Graduation speech (Bush)--The funniest part is the comment about the "interesting people shooting gallery," albeit in that black-humor sort of way that any Dubya joke pertaining to that sh!thole war of his would be. (No, that didn't sound bitter.
![]() "Video Game Awards"--Overall, this is quite disappointing. However, a couple of humorous moments stick out: (1) the fact that Pong and Asteroids are the only two games which are nominated and (2) Ike's intentionally lame Mark Spitz impression, which effectively satirizes the overall lameness of '70s TV. (I was there, ya know. ![]() "Ike and Bobby at NASCAR" (or whatever it's called)--For the most part, these segments have been the highlights of this season for me. (Yeah, yeah, shuddup, already.) Bobby's parts, as always, are the best: his various comments ("I feel 'noodley'"; "I'm real tight"; "You're a liar") and of course his screaming and crying fits. The outtakes at the end are similarly hilarious, esp. when Ike yells at the racers to shut up. "DPTTM"--Mofaz has never been one of my fave McD characters, but I do like the inclusion of the two Franks as FBI agents trying unsuccessfully to catch Mofaz in a terrorist confession. The jokes, as usual, are lame and overdone, even if the sketch's overall premise is somewhat amusing. And for the last @#$%! time, Michael, "I peed a little" is NOT FUNNY ANYMORE!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Graduation speech (Randy Jackson)--For me, this is the second-best thing NRJ has done this season. It's an effective impression, even though NRJ's voice keeps breaking--and even (especially?) that is funny. "Workshop"--I'm encouraged by these strong one-off sketches we're seeing toward season's end. Everyone is great in this, even if the sketch is grosser than Rosie O'Donnell's innards after a barbecue. (Poor Rosie--so easy to pick on.) Watching the guys try in vain to conceal the increasingly more severe accidents from their boss is just a hoot, and the ending is perfect. One of the season's best. Stuart encore--Is it really true that "MADtv" gave voters only, like, five Stuart sketches to choose from? It's like telling people to pick the best person to lead the U.S. and giving them only two old, white males to choose....Oh, hehehe, yeah, anyway ![]() "Steven Cragg: Friendship"--Boy, these Cragg bits are either feast or famine, huh? Well, fortunately, this one's a winner, not a wiener. I've never laughed so hard during a stabbing, and Cragg's indignance at the end--"I'm a professional joke writer!"--is hilarious too. Graduation speech (Wm. Shatner)--Frank, Frank, Frank, Frank, Frank, don't go out like this, babe. Yes, the impression is accurate, but since when has that ever mattered in the grand scheme of things? I snickered a little at the "Priceline" crack, but that's about it. I'm giving 1121 a 3/5 rating, as in half good, half bad, with the good just outweighing the bad. Even though the womenfolks is almost nowhere to be found in this ep, I for one don't mind since, for the most part, I've found the ladies to be quite disappointing this season. If that admission makes me a sexist oink in your eyes, then just call me Rush Limbaugh, and slide over the bacon. (Make it "fakin' bacon," though, 'cause I'm a vegetarian. ![]() __________________ "Charles Nelson Reilly is a bad mutha...." "Shut yo' mouth!" "I'm talkin' 'bout Macho Chuck." "We can dig it!" |

Graduation Speech (bush style) - Meh, i think his Bush impressions and scripting are horribly going downhill, it makes me sad since Frank is such an amazing impressionist. Not too bad but definetly not his best to open his final episode with.
Video Game Awards - Funny for the first little while, but very predictable with the second set of nominees for best sound which i thought was kind of lame. The ending part with the space invaders was pretty good though. Nascar - Hah, this one was actually tolerable. The fact that Kurt was actually fun in the sketch was good. The only part that bothered me was the overexaggerated ending with bobby freaking out. DPTTM - i like this character, i think hes an absolute riot. Never seems to dissapoint me. The only problem i really had with this sketch was the basis, i dont like the whole racist thing referring to terrorism, although it did lead to some funny jokes, im not massively opposed to it, just a little weirded out i guess. Graduation (Randy Jackson) - Thank god for NRj, this sketch was good and it didnt drag on. Probably one of the highlights of the episode by far. I loved the high pitch voice parts. And oddly enough, NRJ makes a scarily convincing man. Workshop - This one wasnt too bad, the only downside was that the opening felt a little too dragged on before it got to all the funnies. But at the end it certainly was pretty funny, and i really didnt see the decapitation coming, that made me laugh. Stuart - A really good one, i love the sketches where the people almost break out of character, and the other ones just play off it. It requires some really good acting skill to not burst out. Cragg - I really dislike cragg sketches, alot! they just arent my thing, i find them to be way to childish and rely on stupid potty humour like racism or stupid pranks that poke fun at people. Never liked the hes our mark because hes an emotional wreck and poor blah blah, it makes cragg look like such an ass in my mind. Grad (shatner) - Not bad, i like his shatner impression the best. Not too bad of a close for Caliendo, liked the mad clapping by Caeti at the end. Overall not too bad i give it a 3/5. One of the better of the season in some aspects. Sad that its the final episode and that Caliendo isnt coming back. |

Uh, well we all have a different idea of what's funny.
I don't like gory humor either, but I mean come on - Jordan's hand looked like was oozing raspberry jam! I found it pretty funny ;D But yeah, alot of times you can tell Cragg tries too hard to get laughs. |

First, in the Video Game Award sketch, The Jackson 5 act should have been called "The Jacksons" because at the time Motown owned the name the Jackson 5 by 1977. Also I understood why people hate the Cragg sketches, I hated it alot and flip the channel to the syndicated show "Girls Behaving Badly" for a few minutes. Also it took me awhile to find out that NRJ was playing Randy Jackson in one of the Graduation sketches. btw did you know that Randy Jackson once toured with Journey in 1986? |
