The sad part is that Saturday Night Live is airing a clip show special the same night featuring the cartoons from TV Funhouse, The only good thing that has happened on SNL in the past ten years.

Too bad I don't watch SNL at all.

Call me crazy, but I'm looking forward to Coach Hines...I'm not exactly a huge fan of him, but the sketch sounds radically different than the others that have been done.

Anyway, I haven't watached MADtv in awhile. I hope I remember to see this episode. I know I'm going to be out all Saturday, but I hope I get home in time to watch this.

Aw. I won't be able to make it home in time for this weeks' new ep.

Though...it includes Coach Hines, which...eh. But, it has Bobby Lee in it, in a not-so-apparent non-Asian role.

As mentioned in the MAD Informer there is also a new "Ka-Son" sketch and a parody of the Jeffersons.

Woo! The new Ka-son is airing! It looks like one of those recurring character/sketches kind of nights. I wouldn't get my hopes up for any one-offs, based on all these parodies and such.

The Medium parody sounds great, even though I love the real show. I like retro parodies too, even when they're shows that have had retro parodies of them done on MADtv already.

Awesome, a new Ka-Son. *Stands on his chair in triumph, then falls down and breaks his assbone* And another retro parody, which is also very good, because the last one (Sanford and Son 2005) was excellent. Stuart...meh...I used to love him back in the day (Seasons 4-6), but I'm frankly over him (I was over him in Season 7), although the last new one was actually alright, so this may be good, even without Doreen.

Ohh sweet the Ka-Son is with Frank Caeti (Who will be in a lot of sketches this week it seems )

But now we can see how well the featured players work together.

In The Jeffersons 2006, Keegan played George Jefferson.

It was a good episode, even though I'm mad they recurred Knobs. Full review to be added later. Too tired tonight.

Glad I finally got to catch another episode. It was Ok to me. I might review later, maybe. But I really liked the Stuart and Medium sketches. Ka-son was funnier this time. A lot better. I liked it.

Ka-Son and Medium were the only good things in this episode. Everything else was just ok. Nothing too horrible. I've never seen Medium so I have no idea how accurate everything was, but Crista was very funny.

Well, since everyone else is sorta doing a half-assed review tonight, I'll half-ass mine as well, esp. since I saw really only half of the show anyway. (Would this then be a, ahem, "half and half" review? Uh oh, flyin' maters...duck! ) The first half of the show is awesome, easily the most consistent half-hour that "MADtv" has put together this season. Ka-Son is much funnier to me as a CSR than as a floor worker at a nightclub, but tonight's sketch is a'ight, I guess.

My local FOX affiliate ruined the second half of the ep with some commercials that seemed to be stuck in some weird loop. (Guess Bubba was asleep in the control center or whatever.) Anyway, from the few parts I saw, it doesn't appear that I missed much. The only second-half sketch I really laughed at--get your tomatoes ready--was "Knobs." Ike's goofy-ass song is sorta this highlight for me.

Still, I can't really rate this ep until I've seen the second half of the ep in full. The first half would easily get 5/5, though.

Elgoucho compiled this information, not me. Obviously. Since Keegan and Frank's characters in "Knobs" are recurring, they'll need names. Anyone manage to catch their name tags with their thick super strength bifocals? Anyone want to take a punt at what you think their mothers may have named them at birth?

I saw this (yes the whole thing) and truly enjoyed pretty much all of it. The only exceptions being the Jeffersons, Knobs (since it just fell flat for me) and the Stuart sketch (which ran too long imo) everything else was great and i laughed a lot at the medium parody, Christa was great, and it was also Arden's only appearance of the night....NRJ's character (im not sure of the name since I've not seen any of those other sketches) was hilarious, the baby play date was funny, and coach hines was even good, seeings how i dont really like him......I still say Jordan makes a great gay guy

Yes yes, I'll admit it too.....i openly laughed at the flashlight sketch...

all in all a 4.5/5 for the night

The Jeffersons '06 - Hilarious! Awesome! Only thing disappointing about this sketch were the impressions, especially Nicole RJ's. But this was a great sketch, so that's easily overlooked. 4/5

Baby's First Playdate - This too was funny. My only concern about is that the joke will grow tired (Baby does nothing in front of the parents, and starts doing crazy things when they aren't looking), but right now it's still pretty fresh. 4/5

Coach Hines: Oliver Twist - Now THIS is what Coach Hines should have been from the beginning! I always knew this character had potential...and it was definitely shown here! The last Coach Hines was disappointing, but this EASILY made up for it. Highlight - him drawing on the chalkboard. LOL! 4.5/5

Flashlights - This went from weird at first, to funny, to HILARIOUS! Another great sketch. "What are you looking at, homo?" 4/5

Ka-Son: Club Liason - Not quite as good as the first 4 sketches tonight, but I still liked it. Highlight - Mike McD's character trying to call the owner of the nightclub, and ending up getting Ka-Son. 3.5/5

Stuart: Big Brother - The episode slows down here. Not to say that it was terrible or even bad, just that, like I said, I'm done with Stuart. This was, more or less, more of the same. Worst sketch of the night. 2.5/5

Knobs 2 - Ugh, THEY RECURRED KNOBS. The first one was awful IMO, but this was actually alright. The start of this sketch looked to be more of the same, but Ike's uber-cheesy song (almost) made up for it. 2.5/5

Medium - Never seen the show, but it was still decent. I'll have to catch the show to judge Crista's impression, though. Crista wrote it, which is good, but I'm still not big on her. 3/5

Now if only more episodes this season were like this! Even better, it didn't require the talents of Nicole Parker to singlehandedly save it. Also, the featured players fit in perfectly judging from this episode, as if they were out and out castmembers. There was little Arden, which was good. Finally, the worst sketch of the night (Stuart) wasn't bad at all.

8.5/10
