I hope it's someone other than Ike & Bobby who do the Ice Age thing. Because one Bobby Lee character sketch is already enough to make me sick.

Well, it's good to know that the Ike-and-Bobby hate machine is running as smoothly as ever; you guys never disappoint. I'm not sure what having a talking oven mitt and a bunch of animated prehistoric creatures as guests says about the current state of "MADtv." (Maybe nothing--I'm just trying to shake things up.)

I'm hoping against hope that we'll have at least one good one-off sketch this time around--or have Cragg and company forgotten how to write them?

Seriously, cartman, you still watch the show?

I've never actually heard the Hamburger Helper mascot speak. I guess they were really running low on the budget for guest stars, hm?

I wish Bobby was given the chance to be in a GENERIC role. Y'know, not even the red carpet events, because I bet they only place him on the red carpet because they almost never use bobby in the sketches themselves, unless they need somebody to get beat up. Perhaps that's why he gains so much applause, because he RARELY appears in some episodes, if any times.

The way they use Bobby kind of feeds into the whole "i hate bobby he sux" idea. I think he has potential but he isn't given the chance. Instead, he has to play recurring roles like blind kung fu master and bae sung. I know frank caliendo almost always comes on doing impressions but that's his talent, whereas Bobby's....eh I'm at a loss of words here.

And if we're lucky enough, we might see a milisecond of Daniele or Arden.

Not again! ARGH WHY DOES HE RETURN?!!?!?! Still, I'll take this character over Bae Sung or Tank anyday of the week. Of course, like most S11 eps, when Ike and Bobby bring it down, we can only hope that Nicole P will do something to bring it back up again.

One...off? What's that again? Wait...it's coming back to me. Now I remember! It's the kind of sketch that DOESN'T EXIST IN S11, BECAUSE THE PRODUCERS HAVE BEEN TOO BUSY PIMPING OUT IKE AND BOBBY, WHO ARE TWO OF THE WORST CASTMEMBERS IN MADTV HISTORY!!!

Oh well, here's to hoping this is Ike/Bobby's last season. (and I love you too mizz )

Yes, I still do watch the show at times but not every minute of every episode like I did in the show "salad" years.

Oh yes, I feel soooooooooo loved. No, actually, it's the kind of sketch that doesn't exist in Season 11 because no one--including, yes, Ike and Bobby--will take the time to come up with an original idea that doesn't involve a recurring character or sketch; an impression; an obvious parody of a commercial, music video, movie, or TV show; an "on the town" segment; a red carpet gig; or a writer who does a better job as a "cast member" than many of the regular cast members whom you guys--and I say this in love--keep moaning and groaning about not having seen often enough this season, when in fact they don't have much to offer to begin with. (I'll be glad to name names, but you might not like my choices.) In other words, I'm talking about the kind of one-off sketch that used to air on "MADtv" all the time but is rarely seen anymore--in short, a truly funny, well-written, and well-performed sketch with an original premise. And for the record, Nicole Parker's horrible "bad date" sketch from the last ep most definitely does not qualify.

There, I hope that clears things up for you, Cag. Now let's all hug, pop some corn and ready ourselves for some Blind Kung Fu Master this Saturday. Whaddaya say, boys and girls? Come on, now! Pull up a seat; don't be shy. (I won't bite--too hard. )

This Saturday's show features the latest short film by MADtv writer, Steven Cragg. Steven attempts to produce a sketch from several seasons ago that the producers passed on. The sketch is called “Zombie Surprise Party” and Steven defiantly produces it without MADtv's permission. As in prior Cragg short films, what starts out as a good idea quickly becomes a horrible one.

Tune into MADtv this Saturday April 8th for a hilarious new episode featuring special guests Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, and John Leguizamo of the hit film, “Ice Age: Meltdown.” Plus Blind Kung Fu Master returns to take on one of his blind students in the first ever all-blind Kung Fu battle. Other sketches include a service announcement about the dangers of conga lines, a parody of the Hamburger Helper commercials and an all-new short film by MADtv writer, Steven Cragg called “Zombie Surprise Party.”

Okay I now get the "Ice Age" joke but why did you put a photo of the glove from the Hamburger Helper ads?

Ugh.
Doesn't sound like a good episode.
And none of the same people come to the forums anymore.

I'm really starting to lose my interest in MADtv.
I hope things change.

Yeah, I saw the thing saying they'd do a 'Ho Nuva Leva' with Ice Age--it would be SUPER cool if they did that with ALL of the guest stars. . Anyways, I missed the last new epsiode, and haven't watched reruns in a while, so I"ll be watching tonight...even though this episode soudns kind of lame.
