I forgot about the Sesame Street one. It was cute. The best part would probably have to be the singing toupee, but the ending wasn't as funny. The birdflu one was funnier though.

watched the rest today...not the greatest episode

Fart Camp - Really, a fart joke?

Jovan - I'm not a fan of this character

Sesame Street - ehh. it was ok

Ike and Bobby at the Movies - All this did was reinforce my extreme dislike for Ike and Bobby. Basically these two at their absolute worst.

Memoirs of a Geisha - Hmm, seems like they did something like this not long ago. *belly laugh*...yeah, lame.

Marvin's Search Ends - Way to plug that craptastic best of dvd, Mike

Jason Mraz: Geek in the Pink - What a dumb song. I guess he's a better choice than some of the past musical guests though. He was ok in the Laguna sketch.

Overall - The only two sketches I liked were Laguna Biotch and the song part of the James Blunt parody. BOO! HISS!

Laguna Biotch it was ok but i like the first one
Ecnore of memoirs of a geisha, wow, encoring something in the same season is kinda lame, boo filler.

Eh, WTF, I'll review precious 1115.

"Fart Camp"--Not bad for an elaborate cheap whore...d'oh!...joke. (Freudian slip. )

Jovan Muskatelle--I should give the entire ep 5 stars simply b/c, for the first time ever, I actually LAUGHED at this character. I'm still not a fan, but at least this time around, we get something besides the usual "crazy as hell pandemonium," y'all.

Music Video: James Blunt "I'm Beautiful"--Nicole, I don't care what anyone else says--ya done good. Yeah, it was creepy, but so was Jerry Lee Lewis's marriage to his 13-year-old cousin. Of such things are legends made.

Sesame Street: New Management --I've never seen the "bird flu" sketch, but this is all right. Even so, if I hear one more Vicodin joke on "MADtv"--and I'm pretty sure that this sketch was the offender--then I'mma shove a whole bottle of that precious med down the throat of whoever's responsible. CRAGG, I'M ON TO YOU!!!

Ike And Bobby Go To The Movies--Mark's two favorite cast members at their very best--who could ask for more? Even though the sketch isn't consistently funny, the funny parts are reeeeeeeeally funny. Yeah, Bobby, rock dat Buddha belly!

Laguna Biotch: Biotch Saves The Day--Jess'ca, this isn't as good as the first "LB" sketch, Jess'ca. Still, the copy machine and flyer/gum bits work.

Encore: Memoirs Of A Geisha--Bobby's a funny clown, but he's a mediocre geisha. PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT!!!

Marvin Tikvah's Search For A Star: Winner Revealed--Yaaaaaaaaaay.

Musical Performance--Jason Mraz is a horrible influence on the youth of today.

Close: Michael and Cast--Wow, what a great closing for this episode of "SNL"! Gee, the only things missing from the stage are the mediocre special guest and the sax player.

The overall rating that overall this ep overall receives: an overall 3/5. It's more like 2 3/4, but since there's no three-quarter star I can use to rate this thread, I'll have to settle for a weak 3...overall, that is.

Fart Camp - What the hell was this? It was lame. >

Jovan Muskatelle: Oscar Report- I found this to be boring as well. I snickered when Keegan jumped on Jordan. That's about all I remember.

Music Video: James Blunt "I'm Beautiful" - I don't think this was the funniest parody that Nicole was in. But it had some funny moments. Like when I thought she was going to fall back into the sea but she didn't. And I was like, "" when I saw Nicole topless. That was funny how they did that.

Sesame Street: New Management - I didn't think the first part was funny or the ending. I like the Bert and Ernie part though.

Ike And Bobby Go To The Movies - First sketch that I laughed kind of hard in. This was hilarious in my opinion. Like when Bobby was naked and he ran into the baby. Lmao. And the movie lady saw Bobby's boner. Rofl. I loved this sketch. Very funny in so many places. One of the best sketches of the night in my opinion.

Laguna Biotch: Biotch Saves The Day - I was kind of dissappointed. It was funny, but I wanted it to be as funny as the first one, or funnier, and it wasn't. But I did like it. Those girls are so dumb. Lol. I loved when they kept trying to put flyers up and they had to use chewing gum.

Encore: Memoirs Of A Geisha - It was very funny the first time. About half funny the second time. Shouldn't have been encored so soon.

Marvin Tikvah's Search For A Star: Winner Revealed - I loved this. Marvin had some hilarious lines. Especially when he was going through the audition tapes. Hilarious. Great sketch. Cant wait to see the winner in one of the sketches. Next week maybe?

Musical Performance: Jason Mraz "Geek In The Pink" - Kristin introducing it was great. I liked the performance because I love this song. One of my favorites. ^_^ Teehee. I l0o0o0o0ove Jason Mraz.

Close: Michael and Cast - ...Yeah...

Fart Camp: I might have missed a few seconds of this, but I don't think it mattered. I was confused, but I guess it was just a really dumb sketch. How could they sink to a freaking fart joke--one that doesn't even make sense? 2/5

Jovan Musketelle: Oscar Report: I don't care what you say, but this character has definitely grown on me. Him whimpering is just a freaking knee-slapper. 3/5

Music Video: James Blunt "I'm Beautiful": This wasn't the strongest video parody--in terms of lyrics--, but I loved it just because he's so annoying. Nicole looked exactly like him. The way they managed to get her without a shirt was funny. 4/5

Sesame Street: New Management: This was better than the first one. Bobby and Crista were good as the kids. the Bert and Ernie segment was good, too. 3/5

Ike And Bobby Go To The Movies: I liked this too. It's extremely lowbrow, but they both played to their strengths. I liked the 'accurate' portrayal of Crash--you're a racist, no your a racist. Good stuff. 4/5

Laguna Biotch: Biotch Saves The Day: This was good. It was pretty up to par with the first. I was pretty hysterical throughout the whole thing. I liked that they branched out a little bit, instead of making it practically identical to the first--like Krumpin'. They incorporated Jason Mraz in well. 5/5

Encore: Memoirs Of A Geisha: Again, a Bobby Lee sketch that I liked. It's still dumb that they showed it twice in a season. 3.5/5

Marvin Tikvah's Search For A Star: Winner Revealed: It's cool that thaat guy gets to be in a sketch--he's lucky. I liked that one little girl--or was it a boy?--who's like 'I'm a star cuz my mom says I am'. Weird. But all in all, it wasn't a great sketch. 3/5

Musical Performance: Jason Mraz "Geek In The Pink": I find Jason Mraz very annoying. 2/5

Close Michael And Cast: Closings have been pretty bland lately. They should at least do stuff like Debra Wilson would do sometimes--like involving the audience, know what I mean?. 2/5

I forgot what I thought about this Saturday's episode. It's a gift folks.

Fart Camp: WHAT? This was going pretty good, until the title was revealed. That killed it.

"Crazy as Hell" Oscar Report: I haven't got tired of it yet. This one was pretty good. Especislly his review of "Humpback Valley." Then when the reporter is signing off he yells 'Good night and good luck.' Oh Jovahn, you so crazy!
(So sue me you Mike McDonald-loving, Nicole Sullivan worshiping, bland humorist asshats!)

Video; James Blunt - "I'm Beautiful": Hahah. OMG, I was laughing out loud when Nicole took of her shirt. I dunno what I expected, but that was just so good it was funny.

Sesame Street Moves: I personally find this sketch particularly funny because it's a common thing here, but if Grover lives in Chelsea, maybe i'll hit him up for a room. I loved the solo by Trumps hairpiece. I never liked Big Bird anyway...

Ike And Bobby @ The Movies: Walking out on Crash, laughing through Munich, garbage can fights...great stuff. Ike running through the theater carrying a naked Bobby....freaking hilarious.

Laguna Biotch - Concert: The only really good thing in this was the song 'Mraz' did. Skoo diddily bop and mountain dew or whatever. Kristen dissed some ho's sweater. Heh.

Encore - Memoirs Of A Geisha: Better of the newer movie parodies. The newer 'combo movies' haven't been too amusing. Bobby looked pretty...?

Marvin Tikvah's Search For A Star: I liked the one dude that when asked by Marvin to "show his stash", he ran outside and jumped in the snow. The comment about Chicago's approach on cocaine made me laugh. So sue me you Mike McDonald-loving, Nicole Sullivan worshiping, bland humorist asshats!

I didn't see a preview for next week, or like a "Coming in 2 Weeks" like we had for Laguna Bi-otch. Next week is a repeat of 1107, but will we have another repeat after that?

Fart Camp - This was okay until it got to the fart stuff. How old is the target viewer that they are writing for? 10? This was stupid, but at least it was short.

Jovan Muskatelle: Oscar Report - I hate this character. While this was probably one of his better sketches, he is still more obnoxious than funny to me. These one-line joke characters get really old after a while.

Music Video: James Blunt "I'm Beautiful" - One of the best music parodies recently. Nicole Parker did a great job here. They let her do a majority of these type of parodies, but with good reason.

Sesame Street: New Management - One of my main problems with MADtv is that they get one good sketch and then do it to death. I LOVED the Bird Flu sketch, but this one just wasn't great. It only got worse as Donald Trump started singing.

Ike And Bobby @ The Movies - This was ok, but I'm tired of these cheaply done "filler" bits. It's an excuse for them not to have to put the money into filming another sketch and it takes up a lot of time, but it's rarely funny.

Laguna Biotch: Biotch Saves The Day - Not as good as the first Laguna Biotch, but better than anyhing else in this episode. I enjoyed it.

Encore: Memoirs Of A Geisha - I actually really liked this parody and I while encores are cheap shots, it was at least an appropriate encore since it was an Oscar-themed episode.

Marvin Tikvah's Search For A Star - Eh, waste of time if you ask me, but it was okay. Marvin Tikvah was never one of my favorites.

Musical Performance: Jason Mraz "Geek In The Pink" - I'm not a big fan of his, so I watched a little bit and switched the channel.

CLOSE: Michael and Cast - This was okay.

OVERALL - Yet another mediocre episode. Nicole Parker was the only redeeming factor in this whole episode, as seems to be the trend. Laguna Biotch and the James Blunt parody, which both featured Nicole, were excellent. The rest of it was mediocre to horrible. They have way too many "filler" spots. Not only did we have a musical performance AND an encore, but we also had to sit through watching Ike and Bobby's trip to the movies and home videos of viewers entering a contest. It would be one thing is this was a one time occurance, but this has been happening more and more this season. I could really care less about Ike and Bobby's trip to the movie theater, it's taking time away from the sketches. Maybe that's just me.

Nicole Parker never ceases to amaze me.

And I agree Matt, these "behind the scenes" sketches are getting out of hand, especially since there are two more of these Ike and Bobby sketches to air, an edition of 24 with Bobby Lee in the next episode (which is actually funny, so that's ok) and at LEAST 4 "cragg" movies. It probably has something to do with budget cuts, but they could at least put different castmembers in them, or do something different.

Blunt takes off his shirt in the music video. Hopefully to make up for the suck-tastic decision to encore, Nicole will grace us with the same.

Speaking of "iLlEgAlLy," has anyone found 1114 out there?
I liked the Memoirs Of A Geisha skit.

I liked the sketch the first time.

It's not the encoring of Geisha per se, it's more the fact of encoring a sketch that has already aired this season.

So yeah i finally managed to catch a new episode, my first in quite a while. Unfortunately it wasnt the best episode that ive ever seen but in saying that it was by no means the worst. The highlights for me were definitely the James Blunt parody and the Laguna Beach sketch. An encore and a musical performance cant help but ruin any episode and the two in this episode werent anything special as usual. I thought Marvin's comment about MADtv being "a cheap show" was fairly appropriate for some of the material in episode as well as Ike "sleeping his way to the bottom" LMAO.

So I guess Ike acknowledges that he's one of the weakest cast members?

I'm not a "veteran" MadTV viewer, but even I can tell that it's pretty cheap :/
