The episode was alright. I only saw half the episode though. I thought the R. Kelly thing was good. The Angela sketch was funny, ecsepcially at the end. From the sketches I saw the Commander in Chief one was the worst, I kept waiting for them to do an actual parody instead of the annoying announcer's voice. The episode wasn't great, it had a few redeeming qualaties, but defenitly not great.

Anger and resentment can stop you in your tracks. That's what I know now. It needs nothing to burn but the air and the life that it swallows and smothers. It's real, though - the fury, even when it isn't. It can change you... turn you... mold you and shape you into something you're not. The only upside to anger, then... is the person you become. Hopefully someone that wakes up one day and realizes they're not afraid to take the journey, someone that knows that the truth is, at best, a partially told story. That anger, like growth, comes in spurts and fits, and in its wake, leaves a new chance at acceptance, and the promise of calm. Then again, what do I know? I'm only a child.

I'm not saying that all of them are like that, it's just like last's Coldplay parody didn't sound much anything like Coldplay, but it was still good. It's just sometimes the music is really off.

But that's just IMO.

Keegan was in the Rolling Stone sketch?? All that make-up reminds me of when Debra became Thelma for Big John's Shirt and Tie Barn.

Maybe none of the sketches with Michael got chosen to air. Or maybe the next new episode will be Michael-centric. Sort of Lost-esque, isn't it? This episode was Bobby and Jordan-centric.

This episode was not funny at all and worse than the first two episodes.

I felt last year was one of the best seasons, which was a big surprise since I never expected to enjoy the show without Mo.

This year has been a horrible disappointment so far. Yes, I know it's only the third show but personally, I haven't really enjoyed one sketch yet.

In the past the show has always prevailed, in spite of losing some major cast members, but I can't understand why season 11 can't seem to get it's act together. Losing Ron and Paul is definately a huge loss but the writing, in general, is not funny.

Something seems so different this year and I can't put my finger on what it is. It feels like coming home after being away for a long time and finding everything has changed.

Just my opinion.

I dunno, I liked the episode a lot. Jordan Peele impresses me more and more every time I see him, I'm glad to finally see him get more airtime after doing close to nothing his other seasons. He's not the greatest impressionist, but his comic timing and delivery is almost always impeccable. His facial expressions in the R. Kelly video were perfect, I'm normally not a fan of the music video parodies, but those were really hilarious and well done.

The Return of the Rolling Stones:
I didn't get home in time to see this... I got like the last second of it.

Open: Kanye West:
Well... Jordan I thought looked like Kanye but I didn't really think he sounded like him. It had its funny moments, but not a sketch that made me laugh out loud.

Eric Balfour Backstage:
Umm... not funny. Ike's spitting was just gross.

FOX NFL Sunday:
At first this really reminded me of the Anna Nicole weather one from last season, because the way Arden was moving and acting. She actually was kinda annoying me during this sketch.

24 with Bobby & Jordan:
This wasn't terrible. It was just funnier the first time around. I mean I laughed during this I just think it went on a little too long....

Music Video: R. Kelly "Trapped In The Cupboard": (all of them)
Now these were really funny. One of the funniest sketches yet this season. The cabnet parts were the funniest. Like when Jordan wanted to look in the cupboard and Danielle wouldnt let him and she was like, "what cupboard" (I don't know how it went).

Angela: Sexually Active 8th Graders:
I love it. This wasn't one of Angelas best but it was A-W-S-O-M-E. The best part was the end when bobby didn't choose her and she started to cry. I knew that was gonna happen.

George Bush Rebuttification:
wasn't paying attention

Intelligent Conversation:
Boring but I thought it was kinda clever... I guess

Commander In Chief Promo:
Umm... NO

Musical Performance: The Dandy Warhols "Smoke It":
What in the world was up with this band. I was getting annoyed by the way he was singing so I just switched to SNL.

Close: FOX NFL Sunday:
Didn't see it

Overall:
Not a very good episode. The highlights were the Angela sketch and Trapped in the cupboard.

Well once again I didn't get to see the last part of the episode, but I'll rate what I did see

The Return of the Rolling Stones - Not too great. Props to the makeup department though.

Open: Kanye West - Again, not too great. Chuckle-worthy, though.

Eric Balfour Backstage - Call me crazy but I thought Ike was hilarious here.

FOX NFL Sunday - This ran a bit long. Arden was really good here. The reason she was so annoying is because that's how Jillian Barberie is...lol. Not a bad impression, in my opinion.

24 with Bobby & Jordan - Not as good as the first one, but I don't think this was bad at all. I laughed...good enough for me ..BUT I could have done without seeing the tattoo on Bobby's ass

Music Video: R. Kelly "Trapped In The Cupboard" - I'll just throw the three together. I've never seen the video or heard the song, but this was pretty funny. I liked it.

Angela: Sexually Active 8th Graders - My favorite sketch of the episode. Steph RARELY disappoints. Everyone was good here.

George Bush Rebuttification - The only funny part was the Connie Chung part...that was great. The rest was "blah"

I didn't see the rest. From what I saw, this wasn't a bad episode at all. Not wonderful though. I enjoyed it overall. Bring on the month of repeats

There's a clip on Frank's website from the FOX NFL show where they show a couple of behind-the-scene interviews with Frank Caeti, Ike, Arden and Jordan in response to the FOX NFL sketch they did in this episode.

Gee, I almost thought of saying it here too but my dislikeness of Frank Caliendo prevented me of doing it.

If I understood what you were trying to say, I might have had a witty comeback for you Cartman.

Dislikeness? No, I don't think you're anything like Frank Caliendo either.

One word to sum up #1103:

Blech.

I don't feel like a full review (I usually never do), and I'm way late here, but I'll say this: Except for Trapped in the Cupboard (which I didn't initially get until I saw the whole Trapped in the Closet debacle), this was probably one of the worst episodes in a long time. Even Angela sucked, which wasn't that surprising given how much worse everything else was.

Oh boy, I really do hope they pull a season 10 here and improve mid-season (I seriously don't think so, however, because the episodes so far have been bad even with Steph Weir in them, and I can only see them getting worse when she leaves).

**Full review added for 12/21/05**

I missed the first part, so I can't review The Return of the Rolling Stones, Open: Kanye West, or Eric Balfour Backstage. I'm guessing that they were bad, though.

FOX NFL Sunday: I'm thinking that this was created not because of a funny premise, but because Arden is a "hottie." I don't think she's that hot IMO, and considering there wasn't a single joke or punchline here, this was little more than a waste of 3-5 minutes of my time. 0/5

24 with Bobby & Jordan: The first one was Bobby Lee at his best. This one? Well, let's just say that Bae Sung would have been funnier and leave it at that. 1/5

Music Video: R. Kelly "Trapped In The Cupboard": This was good. In fact, it was VERY good, probably one of the better music video parodies MAD has done in a while. If not for this 3-parter, this episode would have tanked completely. 3.5/5

Angela: Sexually Active 8th Graders: This was a letdown, I expect more from Angela. 2/5

Music Video: R. Kelly "Trapped In The Cupboard" Chapter 34: Not as good as the first part, but it was still decent overall. 3/5

George Bush Rebuttification: Another Dubya two weeks in a row? What is this, Season 7? 1.5/5

Music Video: R. Kelly "Trapped In The Cupboard" Chapter 189: This wrapped the whole "event" well, and while a lot of people complained about how long these sketches were, imagine actually sitting through that whole "Trapped In The Closet" BS. 3.5/5

Intelligent Conversation: Iraqistan? Saddama Bin Laden? Didn't Dubya say that in the 1102 Presidential Debate sketch? This was little more than a rehash of a funny sketch that just wasn't funny here. 1/5

Commander In Chief Promo: I'll give it a half point for being pretty short... 0.5/5

Musical Performance: The Dandy Warhols "Smoke It" Hoo boy, glad I wasn't paying any attention to this. 0/5

Close: FOX NFL Sunday: Thank God this episode ended.

I've seen some godawful eps in the past (920, 912, 720), and this one ranks high up with them. In fact, if not for Jordan Peele's "Trapped in the Cupboard" parody, then this probably would have been the WORST episode in MADtv history. 2.5/10 because of Trapped in the Cupboard, if not for that it would have been a 1 or possibly a 0.

How can you call 912 "godawful"? It was excellent in my opinion, easily one of the best from season 9.
