video editing?!
hey guys!
just recently I have been doing alot of filming for a family video to send to family back in England. I would like to use some very nice editing software (something that comes with capture hardware (+hardware that lets me re-route it onto a VCR when I am done) and software, too.) Now, when I say good editing software, I mean software like MADtv uses to make their opening credits, etc.. (I know its probabaly very expensive, but I want it to look good  )I also thought it would be pretty neat to do like some opening credits for the video (again, like MADtv) -- hah, do you know how cool that would look to have your family members appear on a family video with MADtv-type opening credits?! That would be the bomb..! As of now, I have Ulead Video Studio 8.0 which does quite alot, but dosent really satisfy my editing needs. HiVolt, your help would be appreciated here  lol, i know its alot, but I appreciate your help

i have looked into that.. does anybody know anything about greenscreening?

I dont do very elaborate editing. I mostly use Windows Movie Maker for some quick n' dirty edits, I use Pinnacle Studio 9.0 for more demanding things, and if I really wanna get creative, I use Final Cut Pro (Mac).

well, i downloaded the demo version of the latest Adobe Premiere, and that has blue and greenscreen editing.
anyway, looking at my video camera, i need to update! The camera is PAL (english video format).. and i need NTSC (american) gotta go to Best Buy tomorrow!

Damn r u like rich? Oh no! my camcorders old Oh well I'll just get a new one! LOL it took me like 2 years for me to get mine..
