Post Episode S12E08 (Aired 2006-12-09)

Snoop Dogg Directs MADtv #1
After being bailed out of jail by MADtv, Cordozar "Snoop Dogg" Broadus, Jr. (Keegan-Michael Key) to pay back MADtv must direct the episode. Snoop comes on stage and roughly says that his weapons charges are bogus. As this is said, weapons, a baby, and bongs start falling out of his jacket. Seeing this, Snoop knows he has to amscray. Jordan Peele who is with him agrees and as Snoop leaves, Jordan picks up Snoop's things off the floor when a police officer comes and arrests Jordan for weapons position. Jordan tries to explain that he is just holding it for a friend, but the police officer isn't buying it, claiming that Snoop Dogg said the same thing.

Iraqi Protesters
A group of Iraqi's are getting together to protest the war, but are faced with competition from other groups. Omar (Frank Caeti), a member of the group is late for the rally because of car bombings. Omar has a lot of responsibilities in the protest but screws up big time by doing things like making a sign that says Go America Go, which he accutes to meaning America get out. When MSNBC comes by Youssef (Ike Barinholtz) tells Omar to get the George W. Bush scarecrow to burn. When it doesn't light, Omar reveals that he has soaked the George Bush in water because the others didn't tell him what exactly to soak the scarecrow. When another news crew comes by, in a last ditch effort to get a good protest going, they decide to burn the American flag, but Omar brings an Iraqi flag instead, because he does not even know where to get an American flag in Iraq. They begin to jump around with the signs, chanting go America go hoping that someone will know they are protesting, but only Fox News reports on the story as a rise for American support in Iraq.

Welcome Back Teddy
After losing both of his hands while setting his bear traps, Teddy (Michael McDonald) comes back to work with some artificial robot hands. When Teddy comes in, his fellow co-workers greet him nicely and allow him to do things like open a zippered cover than contains some art work of designs of a new centre being built downtown. Unfortunately, when Teddy gets the art work, he crumples it up, forcing the designer Courtney (Crista Flanagan) to have to re-do it over her weekend, and skip her wedding. When he tries to give Sharon (Nicole Parker) a back rub, that she use to like, a ringing cell phone causes the hands to grasp Sharon tight. A coffee delivery guy (Jordan Peele) then comes by, but when Teddy tries to pay for it, he rips the money in half. The coffee guy just gives him the coffee for free due to his fear of Teddy. When Teddy brings the coffee over, he spills it on Sharon, this leads to Teddy getting frantic, and doing things like destroying the model for the new building, and squirting glue into the boss(Ike Barinholtz)es eyes. Then in horror, the phone starts to ring, and he rips off a fellow employee(Keegan-Michael Key)s arm, and Courtney's head.

Credits: Ike Barinholtz (Boss), Crista Flanagan (Courtney), Nicole Parker (Sharon), Keegan-Michael Key (Employee), Michael McDonald (Teddy Frick), Jordan Peele (Coffee Delivery Guy)

Sly Stallone "Bring It Back!"
Sylvester "Sly" Stallone (Frank Caeti) is bring Rocky back to the theatres, and sings about it while he works out with Laurence "Mr. T" Tureaud. While working out, scenes show that Sly isn't even better than older men. Mr. T tells Sly to give it up, and uses the terrible Rocky 5 as an example while injecting him with steroids. Due to the age of Sly, he dies of a heart attack, and has to be taken to the morticians.

Credits: Frank Caeti (Sylvester "Sly" Stallone), Jordan Peele (Laurence "Mr. T" Tureaud)

Snoop Dogg Directs MADtv #2
Snoop Dogg is in the MADtv operating room, smoking marijuana and confused about the camera placements. When a switcher tells him he can't smoke in the operating room, he just gets one of his friends to blow the smoke in his face.

Credits: Keegan-Michael Key (Cordozar "Snoop Dogg" Broadus, Jr.)

Celebrity Pets: Vince Vaughn's Dog, Lenny *Claymation*
Vince Vaughn's dog Lenny loves being owned by Vince because he is a celebrity, and when he goes to the park, Lenny knows that women are going to be drawn to Vince, which makes their dogs drawn to Lenny. Lenny, however, is looking for a guard dog of a fat black lady, as they seem to be the most attracted to him. The dog is found and Lenny to mount her. The owner disapproves and beats up Lenny

Apocalypto Press Junket
Mel Gibson (Michael McDonald) is holding a press junket for his new movie Apocalypto, saying that the film is all about forgiveness, but the media all seems to be drawn towards Mel's recent arrest and racial slurs. He then shows a clip from the movie which shows Zero Wolf (Keegan-Michael Key), and a fellow tribesman (Jordan Peele) walking through the forest saying things like "The heart of the panther is real, just like the Holocaust", and saying "By the way, I forgive you for that drunken rant" in their own language. When the panther attacks Zero Wolf, his fellow tribesman says things like "I love the Jews so much" and "at least I'm not MICHAEL RICHARDS!!" as his friend dies. When a reporter (Frank Caeti) mentions that it seems like a retelling of his story, and that he as a Jewish man is deeply offended by Mel's remarks, Mel starts getting angry, telling them to just "see the damn movie". He then reverts to crazy Mel, fit with a beard and long hair, and yells out forgiveness. When he wonders if the reporter is going to go see Apocalypto the reporter says "I'll probably go see it".

Credits: Frank Caeti (Male Reporter), Michael McDonald (Mel Gibson), Nicole Randall Johnson (Woman Reporter), Keegan-Michael Key (Zero Wolf), Jordan Peele (Tribesman)

Donimo's Pizza and Brownies
Donimo's shows how it makes it's brownies to a customer and her daughter with the help of their brownie mascot Fudgem's. The brownies are made with brown lard, pizza dough that fell on the floor, and layer of sausage fat in ranch dipping sauce containers which chocolate syrup on top. When the daughter goes to hug Fudgem's, she gets chocolate all over her, which she later finds out is poo, and Fudgem's doesn't represent a brownie, he represents a piece of poo that comes from eating the brownies.

Credits: Crista Flanagan (Customer), Ike Barinholtz (Ken)

North Korean Nuclear Test Footage
North Korea, wanting to instill fear through the media, is sending videos of their nuclear tests to the west powers. The employee they use is Cho (Bobby Lee), but Cho is not the best employee to be using, as he can't stop smiling at the camera, pressing the buttons too hard, and yelling everything he says. The director finally decides to replace Cho with a better worker Hon (Kennith Lee) but Cho still manages to get in the way, and ruin the shot. When the tape gets to Kim Jong Ill (Bobby Lee), Kim is angry because Hon isn't pushing the buttons hard, or yelling when he enters the empty room, and wonders why such a poorly directed video was released to the media.

Credits: Bobby Lee (Cho/Kim Jong Ill), Kennith Lee (Hon)

2006 Billboard Music Awards #1
Arden Myrin pairs up with Crista Flanagan to go to the Billboard Music Awards. In what should have been a fun weekend for both is turning into hell for Crista, due to Arden losing $18,000 of Crista's money in high stakes backeract table with Flavor Flav. They rock, paper, scissors for who will collect money from stars, and who will be a hooker. Crista loses, and must hook for her money back while Arden interviews the stars, and has the greatest night of her life. Crista silently promotes her hooking, but no one is around to buy. Crista gets the last laugh though, as she gets escorted into the theatre by Flavor Flav.

Credits: Keegan-Michael Key (Cordozar "Snoop Dogg" Broadus, Jr.)

Adam Tells a Story
Adam (Michael McDonald) is having dinner with his girlfriend Jennifer(Nicole Parker)'s friends. A tradition among the group is telling stories, so Adam decides to tell the story about how Jennifer and he first met. What Adam is not use to is having his stories interrupted, which is something the group does a lot, interrupting his story with their 2 cents. After being interrupted for the 11th time, Adam loses it, asking why Jennifer keeps grinding his balls, and wondering why he ever asked her to marry him. The room goes silent as Adam awkwardly finishes his story to Jennifer's silent, and angered friends.

Flavor is down to 4 ladies, New York (Nicole Randall Johnson), and Buckwild (Crista Flanagan), a goat, and a hamster named Wiggles. New York is sure that Flavor knows she's not an animal, and Buckwild thinks Wiggles is a bitch. Flavor feels that he has a connection to Wiggles, and New York, and gives them clocks to move on.

Credits: Jordan Peele (William "Flavor Flav" Drayton Jr.), Nicole Randall Johnson (Tiffany Patterson: New York), Crista Flanagan (Becky Johnson: Buckwild)

I'm predicting a new Lillian Verner Game Show for this episode. We know one has been filmed and the last two seasons have had the first new one in the ##08 episode. Then again, me + predictions = a big joke, so I'm probably wrong.

A Flavor of Love parody? Are you serious?

The Rocky parody might be decent, but I don't know--this ep doesn't look really promising right now (or rather, not those two sketches).

What's wrong with a Flavor of Love parody? That show is ASKING for a parody. As for Bringing Rocky Back...eh, we'll see...it could be potentially funny.

I think it's too early to tell if this episode will be promising, but by Thursday-Friday we can probably tell, once we have more info.

"I'm Bringing Rocky Back" sounds completely lame.

I was thinking they'd do a Flavor Of Love parody, but I didn't think it would even be that funny. Hopefully it will be though. We'll see! IF I am home Saturday.

2 more sketches according to MADtv.com...

Arden at the Billboard music awards.
Keegan as Snoop Dog guest directing.

2 red carpet events in a row? Eh, there was a one week wait between 1207 and 1208 though, so i'll cut them some slack. And I hope the guest directing thing is better then the Arnold one from 1205. Keegan's Snoop Dog was pretty good in the Family Guy skit in 1205 though, so i'm optimistic about it.

Oh, and from the preview clip on MADtv.com, the Flavor of Love parody looks hilarious.

AND...since there's going to be the Billboard music awards thing, that means NO HNL!

Jordan can't really pull off Flav. He (Flav) is too scrawny and gross. Nicole RJ's New York, also not great. Crista's Buckwild is going to be the sketch stealer though.

Yeah, from what I saw, Nicole RJ's impression is meh. I liked Jordan's impression though. Nicole RJ's isn't really that great impression-wise IMO. Her characters and performances in one-off sketches are much better if you ask me...

Stop nitpicking Nick. But yeah I agree, from the short snippet, Crista's impression looks hilarious. She's one funny bitch.

Yeah, but it seems MAD is kinda delayed in everything it does lately. I mean, SexyBack has come and gone (though its still popular). Are the episodes being taped earlier then usual this season?

Not really. The John Kerry thing was pretty recent, and so were the Sesame Street and OJ Simpson sketches (although, the OJ skit might have been shot early, and they added that little bit at the beginning later). And the SexyBack parody kinda works because, even though IT'S late, Rocky (the thing it's parodying) isn't.

Oh, and Snoop Dogg directs MADtv? Oh, Jesus Christ...

Aye, I nitpick and nitpick, until my nitpicker is sore. I'll try to ease up on that.

On the topic of delayed parodies, I think the My Humps parody came pretty late in the game, but they made it work politically.

Yeah...i think My Humps and SexyBack are simular in the fact that My Humps wasnt the current Black Eyed Peas single when they did the parody, but it was still huge for MONTHS so it seemed recent. Kinda how SexyBack is right now.

I forgot to mention this last night, but the MADtv.com website made a slight update. Apparently, Crista is going to join Arden on the red carpet.
