Let's hope Tony Hale strangled Gail Berman into giving Arrested Development a third season.

Anyway, Tank was OK. Bobby jumped through a ****ing flaming hoop for that sketch, and I give him credit, but it seemed so forced. I wish they hadn't made that old Asian guy his dad, and instead a recurring character.

Crista was OK, I thought the standup chick went on waaay too long, but still OK. Peggy, also sorta meh.

No Paul in this one.

LOOOOOOVE Mikey's Clint Eastwood impresssion!!!!! Jordan's Morgan Freeman, eh not so much.

"I'm trying to be gruff"

Town Hall sketch may have been the best sketch of the season.

March 26th is a repeat of episode #1007. Then we *should* have uninterrupted new episodes through the rest of the season (if you consider these Best of things new episodes).

Great episode. Makes me have high hopes for the rest of the season, except for that tidbit they included in the Informer that there's going to be online voting for "Best of sketches" and result episodes to come. I guess they had to have some way of dumping those encores they skipped all season. Anyway...

Dr. Phil: Good Parenting
I hate Dr. Phil with a burning passion, and I think it's terrible how he calls children serial killers. I don't know if I liked this sketch too much, but there were parts that were funny. I certainly looked at Stephnie differently now that we've received that possible news. Mike's impression is still really good. 4/5

Jacko's Wacko Trial
<That's my name for this sketch
Umm...this was unexpected. I think Aries was coming back for a while to do pretape sketches or something. This wasn't great, and his build isn't like Jacko (did Aries gain a lot of weight or something?), but some of the songs were funny. 3/5

Rusty: Presidential Questions Forum

Awesome, an improv sketch with Mike AND Frank AND Daniele. Surprised Mike wasn't given writing credit for this one. Rusty is sorely missed but he wasn't even the focus of this sketch (although did have some good one-liners). Frank's improv skills are getting really good, and Daniele was really a good part here too ("The hair alone: 3 hours"). Dr. President, lol. 5/5

Ike & Ron at the American Idol Final 12 Party

Red carpet things are usually good, and I like this pairing, but American Idol Final 12 Party? Come on...Gail Berman's appearance was pretty funny, as was Mike & Steph running by, but this could have been better. 5/5

Tank: Nightclub

He's not playing a woman! Glad to see that everyone's beginning to develop new recurring characters, esp. Bobby who needs a permanent break from Bae Sung. This sketch was funny, but if it's recurring it will have to be in a completely different setting. Crista's appearance was great too. Mooshu don't dip his egg roll in the brown sauce 4.5/5

Stand-Up Routine

Hey, it may not be an opening or closing but at least it's a stage piece. And wow, I am so glad Crista is a part of this. This was so funny. I was laughing out loud the entire time. 5/5

Peggy Partain the Roller Skating Champ

This was great too. I was expecting this character to be partially retarded but it wasn't, it was funny. When she kept falling down and shouting "dang it", yelled at Gary, made excuses. Great job. Would love to see more of this, and definitely more of Crista. Spencer's going to have to do a good job to keep up in my book! 5/5

Forty-Million Dollar Baby

Again, did Aries film this since leaving? It was a good setup, but it didn't really appeal to me that much. 4/5

Close-Rusty

The Informer said outtakes, this was just an extension. Bush's idea of gay marriage was funny. 5/5

Overall:
9.0/10
Good episode, Crista's true debut (those others weren't really that much) was great.

Next week: Interesting promo. eBay commercial looks funny. Anna Nicole Perfume, as well as that middle clip with Nicole talking French that I couldn't understand. Hmm...we'll have to wait and see, eh?

I didn't really like the stand-up comedian thing either. But when she looked to someone in the audience and said "Will you talk to me?" I could not stop laughing.

Another sucky character for Bobby Lee. It's a good thing I didn't have my hopes up too high.

I didn't really like Christa's chracter but I must I give Christa her time to develop and get used to the scene. I didn't really like Daniele and Nicole P. when they first joined the MAD team but now I see how good they really are.

I hope to see Spencer again. The only thing I remember her doing is 7AM condo Report and I thought she was pretty funny in that.

I thought tonight's ep was ok. I thought Crista did a really good job in her roles. The only I didn't really like was the stand up character she did.

I didn't like Bobby's character either...very horrible....Crista was the only funny one in the sketch. Other than that, the episode was ok.

Daniele was definately this weeks strongest cast member.
That was some MAD improv skills she had going!!! And her Rice and Fantasia impressions were DEAD on! Kudos to ya D, Kudos to ya!

Crista was so refreshing this week... She had me crying during her stand up act!

Thats my cousin, y'all!

Hey guys, just found planet madtv and i've spent the last hour reading the message boards. How cool is it to find a site where everybody knows the show so well. None of my friends watch it so I'm so happy to find people that do!!

I thought tonight's show was better than average. I liked the Dr. Phil sketch, especially Danielle as Fantasia. And I thought the Tank sketch was hilarious! Name's Taaank! Has Bobby Lee done that character before? The new girl was funny in it.

I didn't like the Micheal Jackson sketch. They should ahve made fun of him in pajamas or something. And I thought the George Bush sketch was kinda weak.

Nice to meet you guys, can't wait to hear what everybody else thought!

Sammy

Dr. Phil: 3/5- Finally! Another Ellen DeGeneres appearence! I hate how they have it in quick little bits though. This sketch was alright. I gave it a 3 because of the Ellen DeGeneres impression.

MJ In Court: 1/5- Aries' impression is funny but this sketch sucked.

Rusty: 2.5/5- Frank's Bush impression was the only saving grace really in this sketch. I hate the Rusty sketches though.

AI Final 12 Party: 3/5- Was this even a real red carpet? It looked like a set when it showed Ron running up and down it.

Tank: 0/5- Wow. This sucked. Badly. Crista as that drunken whore was kinda funny. Seemed so forced and immature.

Stand Up Comedian: 4/5- I dunno I thought this was funny. It had me laughing I think because I've seen people like this.

Peggy: 1/5- This sucked. I hope they don't try and recur this. It wasn't even funny. To me it was just like a Sean sketch except she was a roller skater and a girl.

Forty Million Dollar Baby: 2/5- This was alright. Nicole's Hilary Swank impression was funny. Especially the teeth. I think this was just sorta an excuse to dig the Mike Tyson impression even more to the ground before Aries is gone.

This episode was average. Nothing special.

Crista didn't really impress me. The stand up comedian was funny but I can't picture it to become a popular, recurring character. Peggy sucked though.

Let's hope they have Spencer do some original characters too. (Her character that she had in the 7 AM Condo Report sketch was good IMO.)

This episode was excellent!

It didn't look to commercial or wattered down like SNL.
It reminded me of the old MADtv.
Crista is definetly a good addition.
Her drunk girl, stand up girl, and even the skating girl all had me laughing!
The MJ thing was pretty ammusing.
American Idol was hilarious!
Dr. Phil was funny. Danielle was really good in that sketch.
Rusty was really funny too! Expecially the Woody Allen joke!
But Tank was so refreshing.
Bobby Lee's characters are usually dumb, but this one had me laughing quite a bit! "I don't wanna dip my mushu in the brown sauce''

Good Episode!!!!
Keep it Up!!!!

Hello Friends,

MADtv's 10th Season has now ended, but there are still many new episodes to be aired. It's been a great deal of fun and I miss it already! Be sure to watch MADtv this Saturday, March 12. On the west coast, that's 11pm on FOX. I can't wait because I've heard that some of my favorite sketches, (featuring me, that is), will be airing. Yay!

Thanks for watching!
Crista

Can't wait to see the intro with Crista (it's the intro, right?) and her new character! Hopefully it'll be one that can withstand the test of time and be a Ms. Swan, Lorraine, or Dot.

This episode looks like it'll be good!

Hopefully Bobby's new character is good.

I hope Christa's character is a really funny one. I hope it's not one of those Jake type characters. Hopefully it's like a Lorraine or Dot. You know, someone really hilarious. I hope Bobby's new chracter is funny. If I see another Bae Sung I will hang myself.

MADtv's newest cast member, Crista Flanagan makes a strong impression in this Saturday's episode. Crista hits the MADtv stage solo and faces the MADtv audience directly for the very first time, performing a heartbreakingly bad yet extremely funny stand up routine. She then debuts her character Peggy the Roller Skate Champion in a dance audition sketch featuring Michael McDonald, Stephnie Weir and Keegan-Michael Key.

Bobby Lee's newest character Tank debuts on this Saturday's episode.
