Goddamn it, I missed this week's episode AGAIN. But I was tinkering around with a PSX emulator on my PC, so therefore I'm fully excused.

And can we get a list of the writers in this episode? There were a lot.
From memory...

"Election '08, Here We Come"
Written by Lisa and Ben Donovan

"Britney/K-Fed Divorce Court"
Written by Nicole/Ike (as usual)

"Deoderant Commercial Shhot"
Written by Jordan

"Seasonalis"
Written by Crista

Oh, and I liked this episode more the second time around then the first, so I'm raising my rating from a 7 to an 8. And I also agree with MADfan's comment about this season being the best since Season 5...I mean, it's not really THAT shocking when you think about it, the only real competition it would have is Season 8, and Season 8 was really good, but it was a little inconsistent, so I'm going with 12 overall.

And yeah, Lisa was really impressive in this episode. I really hope they bring her back next year. I see no reason why they wouldn't.

That's why TORRENTS exist.

Oh, and sort of related to Cartman's post, network upfronts are next week I think, which is when the networks talk about what's gonna happen next season on their network, so we should be getting an official announcement in the next 2 weeks (although I think things are pointing to it coming back).

The Scrubs parody was awesome. The whole episode was pretty good.

It's a shame that Ms. Swan didn't appear though

Yeah, that's him.

BTW, Lisa's YouTube profile said "My last 2 episodes of MADtv...". I don't know if she means of the season or forever, but my last 2 episodes make it sound like she's not coming back.

she better come back! She was halarious! I'd cry and then right an nasty letter to MADtv.......or at least think about righting one. First they fire Paul, made me mad, but if they fired Lisa that would make me very much enraged.

How many more episodes are left this season, one?

The next episode is the season finale, but it's not for another 2 weeks, because next week is a repeat. You can thank NASCAR for that.

BTW, even though Lisa was only on for 4 episodes, I think losing her would be a greater loss then losing Paul could ever be.

Last saturday's show was excellent, although the last 15 minutes of the show sucked.

The Survivor and the Hilary vs Obama sketches were probably the funniest. Madtv has to make more sketches like that =)

Oh yeah, I hated the Larry King review. Those are so stupid... I also didn't like the Scrubs parody, but that's because I don't watch Scrubs. And yeah, everything after the Tank sketch kinda sucked

Did anyone see the retarded responses to the Scrubs parody on YouTube? It has 2 stars and it's comments are filled with "omgz madtv isnt funy scrubs rules if you peredy it u r evel!!111" comments.

Everytime I go on YouTube, my hope for the future of America drops a little lower each time.

They might have had the wrong intentions but it really wasn't a very funny sketch tbh. It's dumb to get offended when a show you like gets parodied though.

Well the quality of the sketch doesn't really matter, they're mostly mad because of the fact it was parodied.

But the sketch was AWESOME, though, even though it lacked the Janitor.

I haven't seen those comments, but if you think THAT'S bad, you should've seen the comments for the My Chemical Romance parody or the iRack sketch.

I missed those episodes I think. I am a fan of MADtv but I thought this entire episode with a few exceptions was really weak and kind of disheartening for the way MAD is going.

The iRack one got a lot of positive attention too, though, in fact, it was probably the most popular sketch of the year along with Tickle Me Emo.

Well, I thought this episode was pretty good, not as good as last week, but it's pretty hard to top last week's ep. I think MAD is on the rebound right now - this season has been really good IMO, it brought new humor that really gave it the shot in the arm it needed after the last couple of seasons, which were kind of weak (with the exception of the second half of S11).

As for the Scrubs parody, I don't see what was so terrible about it...I thought it was really good.

1221 isn't out, but if it does come out, you can check the Season 12 torrents thread on General Forum.
