I'm not watching the World Cup anymore b/c I don't have the attention span for it.
i'm not a fan of cheering for Germany though. WW2. Just sayin.

I was hoping Paraguay would make it to face Uruguay because like Jimmy Kimmel, I myself was hoping for an All Guay Final.

Since Dementieva wasn't technically eliminated, I'm just going to pretend she won Wimbledon 2010.

It's funny cause I thought, "no one does that!"
But at the Mets game today, I saw two people in my section filling out scoresheets.. hmm

Lots of people do that. At least I think they do. I don't know, I don't live in a MLB city. I live 2 1/2 hours and a long border line away from an MLB city.

I was on TSN recently and I found this image.

Look at the video section picture. Is there are reason they had to take this shot of the guy slapping the other guys ass? I mean, I know it's a sports thing, but still out of all the pictures they could have taken.

Roy Halladay threw a no-hitter in his playoff debut. I don't care if you love baseball or not, everyone must recognize that this is a great accomplishment. To be in your first playoff game and not only show your not nervous, but showing that you are able to perform a feat that had only been done once in 110 years is something truly amazing.

That's a great accomplishment, albeit one that remains completely and totally uninteresting through and through.

Hello, there's been like 7 of them this year (Galarraga counts). They're so rare. Duh!

Normally, that kind of thing doesn't bother me, but it clearly looks like he's grabbing that ass tightly...

A firm palm-first slap on the ass is A-ok. An out and out grab is downright worrying.

I'm more looking at the fact that he's staring right at the guys ass.

Please. The Commonwealth Games mean nothing here even though were one of the still few independent countries still under the Britain Commonwealth system. We just don't consider them that elite of a competition. The only sporting event that contains multiple events that we really care about is the Olympics.

It may also be a factor that most of the events are on really early in the AM here too.

I do hear though that they are going disasterously for New Dehli. I loved it when the organizers said that the restrooms in the village were "good enough".

So this Commonwealth Games are where Great Britain's discarded servants compete with one another? That's adorable

The United States is one of those discarded services, but you just all think you're too good for it even though deep down you really want to compete in a large multi-national sporting competition and are jealous of our really cool club.

I've been watching before I go to work.Australia are dominating ATM and I'm surprised at the lack of gold for Canada so far.I think it was a mistake to hold it in new Delhi.so many problems leading up to the start of the games and they're still continuing now.the crowds aren't very bug either.hopefully the next ones are hosted in a country that actually is prepared for the whole thing

It still may have been a failure if it was held in the only runner up. Hamilton, Ontario Canada. There they are trying to build a stadium for the Pan Am Games, they have the money and everything needed, but it's still not getting built because one guy wants to build it in one place and the others don't. That's been going for 2 years now. It probably wouldn't have been as bad as Delhi, but I don't think it would have been much better.

But I think these games have just been really bad for the image of India. When the unorganized problems of the games organizers are being recognized in non-Commonwealth countries, that is definately not good. This definately sours any attempt of India getting the Olympics to try and upstage China.
