Why Andrew Bowen left MADtv?
Why? I know he regearse his impressions for next (5th) session. He was so funny and mad, a lot of people likes him. I think he sis it against one's will... What do you think, everybody, MADtv fans

Maybe he was a victim of the show budget cuts throughout the show's year.
In this case they probaly couldn't afford to keep 10 regular cast members and have them be payed at the mininium salary per episode over the course of one full season. |

Yah Andrew Bowen was great. I think season four was better than season 5 just because it was it was the "all-Star" cast plus him.

Most likely he left because he was not asked back for season 5. He had a one-year contract for season four, it was like a test run. I guess they didn't like him. He was definitely the weakest out of the season 4 cast, IMO. Compared to the extremely strong cast at that time, I guess he wasn't good enough. I bet he could have made it into the current cast if he were to have auditioned later, though.

I read that he left because he got a starring role in a movie. According to the person that knew him, he was going to return for season 5, but this opportunity came along, and he took the job because he had a young child and the producer/director was a friend of his or something. Anyway, the movie fell through.

In 1999 Andrew Bowen was filming in "The Haunting of Hell House" also he was filming his own film "The Haven" (movie he directed, stered, writed and produced)

I want to have all 4 sesion episodes, but i can't find it nowhere. I have just 406 (Helloween Special), in Emule find just this episode. I am from Lithuania and i can't see Mad tv on TV, I have to download of somwhere it, because i'm Andrew Bowen fan. I'm desperate to see all Andrew Bowen skech he was made, all Mad tv cast, Michael McDonald impressions, Alex, Mo, Nicole.... Cool... Michael's great, but personally, I wish they would've kept Andrew. I'm on Michael character overload.

Andrew was okay in some skits but I remember his wayyyy over-exaggerated Keanu Reeves and Nicolas Cage impressions making me wince. Thats not to say that he wasn't good in other sketches, but MadTV would be stupid to get rid of Michael MacDonald over him. Hes a veteran of this show for a reason. He does his job well
