    Biography

    Mary Scheer plays Mrs. Jewel Barone, a chain smoker. Her smoking habits have caused her daughter, Angie (played by Nicole Sullivan in episode 101) to get cancer.

    101 Second Hand Cancer (Phil, Nicole-Angie Barone)
    Mrs. Barone spends time with her daughter, Angie, who is in the hospital after being diagnosed with cancer.

    109 Last Call (Nicole, Artie-Bobby)
    Mrs. Barone meets a recovering alcoholic at a bar, and convinces him to drink again. She then meets his wife, who is also a recovering alcoholic, and convinces her to drink again as well.

    222 Mrs. Barone (David-Sir Reginald Raleigh, Debra-Felicia)
    Mrs. Barone smokes with her friends Felicia and Sir Reginald Raleigh.

She should have been bigger! She was very funny! How did Mary do that gravelly voice? Thats hard. I can kind of do it though! "Three husbands, dead from lung cancer, not one of them smoked." Guess why!

she is fricken halarious, I don't like smokeing at all, but that character was great!

looking back at it...I'm surprised Mary didn't do her more in season 2 and 3....I never saw those two sketches....but I know Lowered Expectations are pretty short...so she never go much air time.
