Here's an interesting article I found on Vulture about MADtv, in which some of the cast and crew talk about the creation of the show, the "rivalry" between SNL, and the shows treatment at Fox, which was much worse then I thought it was.
There are some good stories in here, like how when Nicole Sullivan was casted, she was casted despite the fact that her audition was, in her words a "3 out of 10". They also get interviews from people like Patton Oswald, who wrote for the show in it's first 2 seasons. Keegan is also really interesting in the way he points talks about his favourite sketches and says some pretty shocking things about what the show does for the career of the players on it, even though he's not necessarily wrong. http://www.vulture.com/2016/05/oral-history-madtv.html# __________________ ![]() ![]() Planet MADtv (August 28th 2002- August 28th 2009, August 28th 2010)
