BREAKING NEWS: Mad TV is coming back!!!
 The classic sketch comedy series—which ran for 14 seasons on Fox—celebrates its 20th anniversary with a one-hour primetime retrospective entitled MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion airing Tuesday, January 12 at 8/7c on The CW. In the special, 19 MADtv alumni reunite to attend a fancy award ceremony honoring the series, but as the evening gets underway, nothing goes as planned. New comedy bits will be showcased alongside classic clips featuring the best of the show's original characters and pop culture parodies. The returning cast members include Ike Barinholtz, Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Crista Flanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Nicole Randall Johnson, Keegan-Michael Key, Phil LaMarr, Artie Lange, Bobby Lee, Michael McDonald, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Eric Price, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Nicole Sullivan, Stephnie Weir and Debra Wilson. I just saw this a few hours ago and Facebooked it. Words can not describe how excited I am!!!! And the alum they got is amazing! I really hope they spend less on classic sketches and more on the alum
 the only ones that I would have loved to see added are Paul, Danielle, and Mary...but damn if that isn't an amazing list! I hope it is a great tv special since when Fox aired it's 25th anniversary special in 2012. which highlighted the network's history, They only aired 5 seconds of the show.
But I though a documentary should've been better on a channel like HBO. |

I am so excited for this. Maybe we should all try to come up with a way that we can celebrate the special. There is a lot more ways for us to do this now then their were in 2009.
