Oh my god!!!! It will finally be here ! The best season of madtv if i recall correctly ( its quite hard to remember to be honest because the good seasons were unavailable anywhere to be seen for the longest time!! I dont have comedycentral....) but man am i hype for this . I got season 2 and 3 on dvd just hoping they wouldnt cancel releasing 4 and 5 . Season 2 is ok and season 3 is better but we will soon have the peak of madtv available in dvd . Big thanks to shout for this , cant thank you enough after all these years of looking for these on the internet

I have not been back here for a while, but I found this information just randomly searching and I couldn't believe it. I am so excited. I have to ask Pattypizzle, did you buy them through a store or online?

Looks like the DVD package for Season 1. By the way, in the first 5 episodes, Nicole Sullivan is not listed in the opening credits. What was the reason. Was she suspended, was she and her agent holding out for more money?
Anyone? |

I thought that she was just out for other acting opportunities.
And that DVD cover does look like the one from the first season. I'm slowly getting through the season 2 DVD right now (I am currently on disc 2). I'm glad season 4 is still coming...I got worried for a while they were stopping. Season 4 has one of my favorite sketches 'The Welfare Game'.

Can't wait for 5. I heard it was the best season of all. I'm interested to see how it stacks up to 12. A favourite of mine.

In my opinon, Season 3 was the best season, but the best cast was the original cast. But their first two seasons we're ok but the decision to let special guests like Christina Applegate, Jack Wagner, Harry Connick Jr., etc to host the episodes in season 2 was an awful idea

Yeah, there is just not that much to talk about. Season 4 comes out next month so that should spruce up some more discussion.

I haven't received my copy of season 4 yet but when I do I will watch it and compare it to the sketch guide to see if any sketches have been removed due to music/copyright issues. I should receive it sometime next week.
