I've got vhs tapes (at least 15) of every MAD episode, well okay like 90% of the episodes from seasons 4-9. If anyone wants them, let me know.

It's acutally disappointing. I used to be able to go on Youtube.com and you could type in either MadTV or a certain character and pages or videos of their sketches would come up.

A couple of months ago, most of the pages got deleted. I'm not sure, but I've heard there is a rumor that they are supposed to be releasing more of the MadTV seasons on DVD. But, like I said, I'm not too sure how accurate that is...does anyone else know?

I hope those DVD rumours are true.

On another item does anyone here have any Season 2 to 4 episodes recorded on VCR when the episodes premiered on FOX?

Hi guys!

I'm looking for the complete season 10 - 12. Can someone upload the those seasons, pls or does anyone know another source?

I've looked almost everywhere for those vids, but without luck
I just hope that someone here can help me out... I've spend so much time searching for those episodes and have only found #1108, #1219, #1220 and #1222. It would be really great if someone could upload the complete seasons, you're my last hope... Thanks!

I have 1216 MADtv sketches on my computer. They take up 66.5 GB and it would take 17 DVDs to copy them all. I'm not a pro, so some of the sketches aren't titled correctly. If anyone has a digital collection (or even a superb VHS/DVD collection) to trade for 17DVD Roms of MADtv in avi, mov and MP4 formats, please let me know.
The list is way too long to paste here, so I made a google doc.

I'm sitting here busily kicking my own ass in a big way...



many many years ago I recorded every episode of MADtv seasons 4-9 because they had Mo in them.......then a few years after that I promptly got rid of ALL THE VHS TAPES.........now Mo wants DVD copies and is willing to PAY ME FOR THEM!!!!!!



Help......anyone, seriously...........HELP!!!!

Greetings from the U.K.
As we don't get MadTV at all over here i've had to rely on video's found on YouTube. I stumbled on this when i accidently watched the john madden sketches and since then i've spent the last 2 years or so scrolling through YouTube for MadTV video's.
A few questions for all you seasoned pro's out there:
1. Is there a website out there which streams MadTV episodes fully or loads of sketches as YouTube seem to have had a lot taken off.
2. Theres one sketch i saw once and now can't seem to find it, its from episode 714 : Wheel of fFortune with kenny rogers. This is possibly my favourite Kenny Rogers sketch

Sometimes i hate living in the UK, we get sheltered from this comedy greatness!

The show ran for 14 seasons, some MUST have recorded them

She should go e-mail Warner Archives and ask them to give her copies. Warner Archives makes DVD's of things that are not sold in multiple copies on DVD. I've been thinking of e-mailing them and asking for the whole series.

Default YouTube offerings
Hi All,

User Silknitter87 has uploaded the proverbial buttload of MadTV sketches, all of them starting last fall and ending in January - he says he's been presented with another strike or whatever it's called and thinks he'll likely have his account deleted at some point.

Now, I learned a while ago that YT can't ever be trusted to act as bona fide archivists, so I got into the habit of downloading any interesting things like these that caught my fancy. The program I use for this is JDownloader, which is wholly free and works quite fantastically. You can set it to recognize if a url is on the clipboard, for instance, and thus enter 'em that way. Or you can enter the url of a whole web page, say Silknitter's account page, and JDownloader will check the whole page for individual urls.

It will provide links to 4 different file types, I just downloaded the MP4s. You have to delete the others from the Linkgrabber page. You can also download an MP3 of a YT page, if you want some music sans the user's video.

Another diligent uploader at YT is saultonofswi, his stuff's been up for some years now, so perhaps Silknitter's account will be around after all. But at any rate I plan to upload what I've downloaded to a file hosting service, and YT/Fox can stuff it. The latter deserve what's coming to them for almost wholly neglecting this show on DVD. Copyright isn't an excuse, you can buy the whole run of The State on DVD, they just took the trouble of excising a lot of music and even posters of artists.

I've downloaded 6.34 gb of these MP4s. There are plenty more from random users - I might build up a database and figure out what I don't have, where it came from if I do have it, etc.

I've seen that Kenny Rogers Wheel of Fortune sketch on YT, too. I think it's named something non-obvious.
