I have no clue. I'll look at this as news for me.

how do you find out that they are cancelled anyway?

I think they'll keep both of those. The impressions, especially the Chung one, are too good to lose. Plus, they're airing a new JJ segment soon, and the show was cancelled long ago.

It looks like Michael put Depressed.. to death. Here's hopin'!

Nah, Jenny Jones and Connie Chung have been cancelled from TV all together, so why keep parodies of shows that aren't even on the air anymore? I'm sure they won't continue with either parody.

I doubt any regular recurring character will be discontinued unless the cast member who plays them leaves the show. Since Debra is most likely gone, her characters and the sketches she appears in will probably end. I'm guessing even group sketches such as Glamazon and Sorority Row will be almost impossible without her.

Sorority Row will survive as long as they get another black female to play a new Kappa Girl (it would be rascist not to have a black one considering it stands for KKK). It worked with Amber being played by a few people. As for Glamazon Huntresses i think they'll end it anyway like they did Rocket Revengers because they can't go much further with it even though its funny it would start repeating the same jokes. Jenny Jones sketches were likely filmed before it was actually cancelled (or maybe this weeks topic relates to its cancelling but i think it's about lie detector or DNA tests).

Well, unlike Jenny Jones, Connie Chung will most likely resurface somewhere by next fall, so Bobby can continue his great impression of her.

Let's hope so! It's too good and too new let go of just yet.

No offence Michael McD fans, but I seriously hope they put Stuart & Rusty to rest... They are washed out by now...

I actually have to agree with that. After 5 years of endless amounts of Stuart etc...these characters have lost their touch and need to be retired. I also add Fightin' Ron, Tow Truck Guy, Trina, Bunifa and Reality Check to that list. Marvin for some reason still entertains me, same with Lorraine so keep them. Maybe they could at least down grade these characters to a 1 sketch per season contract before retiring them all together to make sure the fans react good. And they should put Stephnie's characters like Mrs. Campbell on more.

But they could keep putting Chung in different situations. Look how far they took Will's impressions

Rusty needs to be put to rest, I agree. But Stuart's funnier this season, he can stick around.

And yes, Stephnie's characters need to pop more often than they do.

Stuart became considerably better this season... It was almost as if Michael had created a brand new character. And Doreen Larkin continues to make me laugh. Mo's facial expressions are hilarious.

Actually, Doreen's too weird for me this season. Well, the first two sketches anyway. Stuart's actually funnier to me than Doreen this season.

I also add Fightin' Ron, Tow Truck Guy, Trina, Bunifa and Reality Check to that list.
Bunifa? I think that she is still excellent. The Laker Girl sketch proved that she is still as funny as ever. Truthfully, that is the only sketch this season that has had me laughing so hard that I couldn't breathe. It was better that many of her sketches in the earlier seasons. My favorite is still "Bunifa's Driving Test" though.

Also, Tow Truck Man and Reality Check have improved considerably as well. I'd have to agree about Fightin Ron and Trina though.

Bunifa's one of Debra's only remaining recurring characters still left on the show...

Depressed and Ron need to be retired, I agree. Marvin and Stuart are the only McDonald characters that should stick around.

I still think Bunifa can be very funny - as evidenced by the Laker Girl and Trading Spaces sketches. BTW Bunifa was basically Debra's only character, besides Melina. Well, and Tovah, but that one and the others are really only ensemble characters.

Up until this season I thought Reality Check should never have been recurred, I never liked it. But for some reason I've loved the RCs this season

I would say Trina needs to be put down as well. I loved her sketches in season seven, surprisingly, especially the one in the season premiere, but her last sketch was just SO tired and predictable.

I think we all get the joke behind Bunifa and Stuart, Rusty etc. now it just isn't funny anymore. "Cause I'm black?" we all get it now everything is because they are rascist it just isn't funny anymore after about 20 sketches and five seasons. Same with the rest.

Yes, Doreen's very weird this season--- much like Trina, if you exclude the fact that Trina is WAY beyond weird. But Mo's facial expressions are still hilarious, and Stuart's not so bad either.
