Jim, if you think they sold out by putting Alison on Big Brother, wait until you here this...
They have a little person as one of the team mates. This is an emmy Award winning program, why are they ju mping the shark. Sure you could say that they are doing it to show they don't discriminate, but I think its fairly obvious they're only after ratings. If she makes it to the final 3, shes gonna have major problems in the run to the finish.

Oh, I saw the show last night! It was awesome. Last year, on Big brother 4, i was bummed that Alison didn't win because she was favorite since the beginning!! w00t Alison and Donnie. They're in first! w00t!

I think Charla and Mirna KNOW they are hindered by Charla being a little person, but if they applied for the show, it's fair of Bruckheimer to put them on the show. She's not disabled or mentally ill or anything, and Christy on Survivor was deaf and proved that she can do just as much, if not more than people who aren't deaf. Okay, I don't think this is the exact same scenario, and I do think they put her in for a "ratings boost" of sorts, but no one has forced her to do the show, she is doing it of her own free will. My favourite teams are the twins and Linda and Karen, but I think either Chip/ Kim or Colin/ Christie will win the whole thing.

Is anyone else watching this season? This is the best one yet. Charla and Mirna are the best team ever. Hated by many, loved by many. It's so odd. And despite everything, they've finished in no less than 5th place in every leg. The twins and the Bowling Moms are great too, and the Pizza Brother are assh*les. All the other teams are okay IMO, I like the God fearing couple (Brandon and Nicole) and I'm scared of Colin (He looks like a psychopath). The Black couple were jerks in episode 2, but are pretty much boring. I was so glad that Alison and Donny got eliminated early. So vile.

I'm pretty sure they've moved it back a few weeks to give the fans a breather in between the seasons. ALso, it is supposed to be in a Saturday Night timeslot, but it's been the best season in terms of ratings so far, so I heard they were holding back w/ it for a while in the hopes that something will bomb mid or early season and TAR can keep it's Tuesday timeslot.
