Default The Best Browser On The Planet!

mozilla firefox 0.8 is the best, I could go on about it all day.

The best thing about it is that it's customizable, you just add extensions to make it work how you want it to. It look cool too.

These are some of the extensions and capabilities I have:

1) All-in-One Gestures
Mouse gestures that include Rocker Navigation that allows allows to perform Back (resp. Forward) action when the mouse right (resp. left) button is pressed and the mouse left (resp. right) button is clicked.

2) I have all my MADtv bookmarks on the "bookmarks toolbar" and I can any open any group of webpages in a set of tabs at the same time. The tabs vs. windows are relly cool too.

3)Tabbrowser Preferences- I love using this on the new posts page cuz all you have to do is left click once on the new post indicatior to have the post(s) open in a new tab under the current tab. So what you do is you just click on each one you want to read and they all open up underneath in different tabs.

5) I have chatzilla. I'ts the yellow smile icon next to the home button. It lets me connect to planetmadtv chat in one click of a button. 10 seconds maybe on dialup.

6) ...tab color coding, you can open up different programs or documents in a new tab and you can create icons for those on the toolbar too, , cool themes, these are just a handful of the myriad features available on the best browser I've ever used.

You just to Tools>Options>Extensions, but the website listing all the extentions isn't working right now.

I know MADtv Watcher has this browser too. What extensions do you have?

I love my customizable firefox!

MysterE, are you secretly employed as a promoter of FireFox? I've heard a lot of good things about it, but I'm used to IE, and I'm always reluctant to change. I might give it a try on my laptop though.

ROFL, I sold it good did I? Wait till you try it. I so wanna' try the mouse gestures where you can backpage by clicking right click, then while holding down press leftclick in a quick motion- vice versa for forward page....with cable internet.

I dunno? Is it like pushing F11? Maybe you have to manually resize it?

Are you sure that your taskbar is set to stay on top at all times?

I'm not using Firefox right now, only b/c I'm out of town and on another computer. I'm not even sure when I mentioned having this browser. Anyways...

What I can say about Firefox is that it is a lot more secure than IE. It has an integrated pop-up blocker. I love tabbed browsing. I used to use Mozilla, but Firefox is the stripped version of Mozilla and it's a lot faster and a lot better. As for extensions, I don't have any except plug-ins, but those don't count. I use it as is.

As for the negatives, some pages look different. Also, I hate how it handles Java Applets (think Yahoo! Games) and the plug-ins you have to get. Slow loads for Java Applets and plug-ins needed for Flash and pretty much anything fancy.

All in all, the positives outweigh the negatives.

Yeah, I dont really like how it handles some pages either. It does have a built-in popup blocker, but I just noticed so does IE! (Well, with SP2, of course) I still like the features of Firefox.
