Default Taping of MADtv
Has anyone here ever been to the taping of MADtv? I was just curious in the process of it all... Does the cast interact with the audience before the show and so on- and generally how long does it take to film an episode? Ta.

Hi Zac,
I was at a taping a few weeks ago. My daughter will be in episode 708(Ruthie in the 7th Heaven skit), to air on 12/1. Some shows are taped with an audience and some not. It takes several days to shoot as they commit a lot of time to each skit. Got to run, I'll tell you more later. Check out some of my other postings as I shared some stories from the tapings!

You should contact Mad TV as not all shows have a live audience.

I've tried
they don't like to respond to my emails.

well I'm going to be out in LA for two weeks sometime next month, hopefully I'll get my way into a taping if I can.

I would kill to see a taping. BUT since im only 16 im not the most mobile person in the world Maybe for my bday

I know in the first couple of seasons, you had to be 18 years old to be an audience member of MAD... has this changed now that the show has been gaining younger viewers?

you have to be at least 16 now
