Since this is the Michael McDonald posting place. I would like to ask a question about him. Does anyone know why he hasn't been on the last two episodes? I am starting to worry that maybe he left. I hope not because then that would mean that Madtv will go down hill majorly (in my opinion)...

MMMMMMkay Michael has decided to do a lot of directing of the show as of late. Which is why he hasn't been in sketches.


Dunno if you knew this but Mo left too. Back in December. The show IMHO has gone downhill since she left. But to each his/her own.

I knew that he would be doing some of the directing and what not, but I never thought that he would stop doing sketches all together. I am sure he might be in a few sketches, but i thought maybe a couple in one episode, not a couple in a season. LOL. I hope that he can come up with some better skits.

well he directed alot of things on the show. The 1st episode Michael directed was the 1 with Stephnie doing the "Crest White Strips" commercial. he only directed that 1 sketch on that ep. But the week after that he directed the WHOLE show every single sketch. then week after he didnt direct anything. and i think next was a repeat. and then last week he directed 1 sketch which was the "Samuel Adams" pardoy [sadly that was my least fav sketch of that ep] and it comes to this week which i was VERRRRRRRRRRRRRY excited cause he decided to do the sketches instead of directing. that just lighten up my whole night

SORRY i didnt keep up with the episode #s so if you get confused sorryyyyy

you know i dont really blame him for not being in sketches while he was directing [not to say i liked him not being on tv] but directing is a HUGE responsibility he has to tell everybody what to do, tell them what possition to do tell the camera man when to focus and who to put it on its a big job. im so proud of him! he went from being an actor to a writer to a director yey good for him!

If Mike is really leaving, why didn't they film a farewell? They did one with Nicole and Mo, and Mike is right up there. Everyone got really tipped at MAD after Debra didn't get a farewell, so they better make sure they send the good ones off right this time.

That or because they probably don't want anyone to know he left. Not to sound pessimistic, but I don't think the show will last that long without him.

But you just... never mind. I'm just saying that, from what I've heard from other people, Micheal is by far the most popular cast member on the show. And, to be perfectly honest, I didn't even know Mo was that popular until I came here. But anyway, I might be wrong. Hell, there are some people that think he ruined the show.

I agree, he is one of the most popular members on the show....if it is true that he is leaving, I do think that the show will go downhill.....and IMO, since mo left, it kinda has gone downhill somewhat.....
