Since Family Guy is coming back, FOX has gotten all the Family Guy ppl back together, so not only will Alex continue to do the voices and writing, but I hear that she's been promoted to executive producer.

Benjamin Bratt may be Halle Berry's official scratching post in the upcoming Catwoman feature film, but she wasn't the only cast member he made purr. Turns out Mad TV grad Alex Borstein, who plays Berry's bosom buddy in the movie, also wanted to sink her claws into the former Law & Order hunk!

The funny lady's desire to lap up Talisa Soto's husband began years ago, when she was interviewing celebrities for the Fox skitcom. "I embarrassed him on the red carpet," Borstein confesses to TV Guide Online. "He's one of the few male celebrities that when I saw him coming — I think it was at the VH1 Awards — I genuinely melted a bit, like, 'He is really, really cute!' So I just kind of made a [fool] out of myself and maybe jumped on him or something."

Getting all co-starstruck would have been humiliating enough for the actress, currently at work on a big-screen adaptation of beloved Mad-woman Miss Swan. However, to make matters worse, the object of her obsession had total recall! "He remembered [the incident], so that was embarrassing!" she groans, adding quickly that she refrained from inviting the married man back to her dressing room for a saucer of milk. "He has a little baby who visited the set, and he looks really happy. Everyone [on the Catwoman set] was really nice. Boring, I guess!" We couldn't have said it any better ourselves.

We had our first Family Guy record session yesterday. It was great! I can't tell you how much fun it was to hear the old familiar voices again. Seth was in good form as he flipped between Peter, Brian and Stewie for hours. I was happy to be Lois once again and tickled to say "Diane," as Tricia Takanawa.

Ttickets are now on sale for my live Los Angeles show on August 14, 2004. You can visit the theatre's website for some info on the venue and ticket sales at: www.alextheatre.org

You will notice on the theatre's website that they recommend the show for ages 16+ and here's why: some filthy language. The decision is up to you and your parents, but be warned, my mouth needs a bath!

Please note that the Chicago date has not yet been set, but we are still shooting for September.

It looks like the Catwoman publicity machine is in motion! I have heard that I am in the movie preview, but have yet to see it myself.

Last night's benifit show for Cure Autism Now at Bang Theatre in Los Angeles, went very well. The show was really funny and the cause was really worthy, so thanks to all who came out for it.

Joining hosts Matt Vasgersian (lead TV broadcaster for the San Diego Padres) and Alex Borstein ("Mad TV," "Cat Woman"), are celebrities Jason Alexander, Billy Baldwin, Richard Belzer, Dean Cain, Andy Dick, Snoop Dogg, Shannen Doherty, Shannon Elizabeth, Willie Garson, Eddie Griffin, Melissa Joan Hart, D.L. Hughley, Jamie Kennedy, Camryn Manheim, John Melendez, Shelley Morrison, Kevin Nealon, Rodney Peete, Bijou Phillips, Chynna Phillips, Caroline Rhea, Hal Sparks, Ben Stein, Mark Steines and Marissa Jaret Winokur.

CELEBRITY BLACKJACK is produced by Pariah. Executive producer Gavin Polone's credits include "Panic Room," "Secret Window," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Gilmore Girls." Andrew Golder ("Star Search," "Win Ben Stein's Money") also will executive produce the series. Jonathan Frank serves as executive in charge of production for Pariah.

Each episode will feature five celebrities playing tournament-style with professional blackjack player "Hollywood Dave" Stann, one of the finalists on GSN's hit series WORLD SERIES OF BLACKJACK, dealing the cards.

In tournament-style blackjack, the player with the most money at the end of a set number of hands (in this case, 21) is deemed the winner. Each player starts with $100,000. The minimum bet is $1,000 and the maximum is $25,000 for the first 10 hands only. After that, the minimum increases to $5,000 with no maximum. In the final hand of CELEBRITY BLACKJACK, the players write down their secret bets.

As an added twist, CELEBRITY BLACKJACK includes the play of four jokers in the six-deck shoe; any player dealt a joker may steal a card from any hand still in play.

The six-episode series features five tournaments of five members with each respective winner advancing to the sixth and final episode. Each player will receive $10,000 for their charity and the winner of each game earns $25,000 and the chance to make it $100,000 if they win in the final round.
