For MADtv, the shows ability to succeed or fail depends on the ability of the cast members to perform great impressions that not only emulate who they are parodying, but strive to leave the audience gobsmacked at how accurate the impression is. This is no small feat, but for Piotr Michael, this may be his specialty. Born in Los Angeles, California, Michael traveled all across America with his family as a child going from places like the gritty city of Cleveland, to the sun and surf swept shores of Hawaii. It is possible that with all of this travel, Michael's learned many different dialects and speech patterns that helped form his impression base. His start in impressions and voice work can be traced back to 2007 when he started his youtube account, and began posting his impressions online. He began to develop his ability for impressions due in part to his subscribers and fans who encouraged him to pursue and grow his talent. Because of his fans encouragement, Michael went after a career in acting and voice over. He now comes to MADtv cocked and loaded with an arsenal of impressions so accurate and indistinguishable, that in some cases the ear can be deceived into thinking that the voice your hearing is the actor themselves, and not Michael's spot on impression. His impressions of Liam Neeson, Sir Ian McKellen, and Steve Buscemi are so accurate you could swear the actors are dubbing their voice over him. Michael considers himself to be the "Impression Guy" for MADtv, and seeing his talent that is a title he will not have trouble living up to, and considering he has the ability to impersonate a certain Republican presidential candidate, we are sure to see a lot of Michael on MADtv as the season progresses.
